Last week of getting Twintania down we were trying out new ways of doing coil this week because of boredom and wondered if all the turns could be solo tanked.
Here's our results
IF YOUR DPS IS BAD BRING MORE DPS!
Turn 1. Done it 2 weeks allready with one tank and no feeding and let the snakes merge so did not take screenshots (easy)
having virus, eye for an eye, rain of death rotation on the boss and 2 healers on one tank instead of 1 for each tank with adlo 100% up the tank wont die
Also on ADS we had bard picking up the add
Turn 2. http://i.imgur.com/NMEpnHb.jpg SCH keeps Adlo up and WHM keeps Stoneskin up, if the debuff dmg gets absorbed the tank wont get any stacks.
when the last ADS buff comes into play the boss will start doing more DMG than absorbs can handle so it starts an enrage timer with the stacks
Turn 3. yeah run.
Turn 4. http://i.imgur.com/2OZmADO.jpg tank takes everything and bard gives him ballad if he needs mana for flash. last phases bard takes knight and casters takes soldier, nuke 2nd dreadknight before 3rd spawns
-> feed last dreadknight with spiders -> win
Turn 5. http://imgur.com/33GBjUg tank picks everything and stuns dreadnight. first snakes to 50% then at second snake spawn tank uses immunity and caster LB2. Last phase bard stands at Neurolink and soaks egg dmg

I'd suggest for people who are geared to try it out. We only wiped from turns 1-4 once on turn 4 so it's really not that difficult.
this whole thing started from our server forums when we posted on the progression thread that we got twintania down and did it with a 1 tank setup. Which got replied with "why 1 tank? is your DPS really that bad?"
so just to prove a point we did the whole raid with one tank

I hope this doesn't become a thing because you need to have geared tanks and people need to be wanted as tanks or else everyone will just roll dps even more than they do now.

You can solo tank Coil? I never knew that.
I just 1 man solo'd the final boss of CM but there's no way in hell i'd last more than a second trying that in the coil lol. -

I believe the real problem of warrior soloing, is the fact that he spend a little more mana from healer, and u would need to sing for him tp in some situation taking away mage ballad from healer, with pld wouldn't since he can sustain flash for a long time with balad.
