Glasscannon Conjurer

I am friggin' wild about this.
We have 2 rocking Conjurers in our LS and I'd just love one of 'em to be the end of days.

A basic and very brief idea is the following:

We got 2 Tanks. 1 Tank can be the main Tank, the other one may be solely responsible for protecting the Conjurer.

That Conjurer's guard has PUG's "Accomplice" and GLA's "Cover" set.
The Conjurer carries a bunch of Nerve Drops and one is consumed after, let's say, every 2nd or 3rd cast. The Guard spams "Accomplice" and "Cover" as often as possible and will eventually, if the Conjurer goes too wild, support the main Tank and spam Enmity as well.

The main Tank also casts "Accomplice" as often as possible.
If a Pugilist is in the Party (we don't have one for the static, unfortunately) he of course does the same.
Any other character with the ability available might as well.

Do you have any idea on how to furthermore improve this?

Also, as just said, more ideas are so welcome.

(Yes, I am absolutely, fully, 100% aware of the fact the battle system is gonna get revamped soon and I couldn't care less.)

This is for the hidden Bahamut that's found in Ishgard, which you can enter after you've gotten the Chocobo License from the Sultana for being an Ul'dahn Guard which you achieve after doing the hidden questline which is unlocked by paying 1000 Gobcob's to the secret NPC that spawns every 15th Miasma in Mor Dhona.

Haha, i almost believed that (in my head,Which hidden quest!?).

If CON was the main role in this set up, then i would try to reduce DDs and increase the CON. I think it would be faster.

Besides removing one CON and replacing him with a THM or ARC?


Well, if you're going to keep 2 CONs, you will have an easy time with leves.

Just have each CON do Profundity II and nuke the levemob with the element they are weak against as the first attack, and you'll probably get the mobs down to half life, if not more. Have then both follow up with a Tier I nuke, and you'll probably have finished off the mobs while the Glad and PGL only gets in a couple hits each.


On NMs, CONs kinda suck, tho...

You must have played Everquest Online Adventures for the ps2. That's like the only time I heard the term glass cannon.

Mages in wow were called glass cannons.

Glass cannon is a very common term going waaaay back.

I wouldn't consider them to be that powerful, they use basically the whole stamina bar in 2-3 dmg spells.

Haha, yeah I made that up. It's only 500 gobcob's. (~.^)

You're absolutely right~! Then you'd have to assign members wisely, though, to make sure you get that Enmity off the several CON's. But it would multiply the effect of it.
4 combat casts at a time, 3 times in a row. My god. (^o^)

Especially the cute-on-the-outside-but-horrific-from-inside Lalafell's.

we had class cannon in ffxi.... they "broke" alot. (spam happy mages)
