No need to HQ your tome mat Item

So after I read all the post here, it come up with that we dont need to try and hq the tome mat item like peacock ore into rose gold ingot. I have 340 craft 340 control and 340+ cp with food it will gi to like 370+. I tried to hq them yesterday and lost the mat which is pretty dumb. So it is true that we dont need to hq it. I got lvl 50 gsm, culi, crp and 15 for the rest. Will try to get weaver to 50, but I will give alchemy a pass.

So do I just use flawless sync and get the normal item. Lol

I'm assuming Flawless Sync is actually Flawless Synthesis, i.e. the lvl37 Goldsmith class skill that guarantees 40 progress on use.

But yeah, I don't see the point in putting the effort into making Rose Gold Ingots, Vanya Silk etc. HQ if you can guarantee the finished piece of equipment to be HQ without it. I've been lazy like that lately. :p

Rather than nitpick you, Op to the point. You figure out how to complete a synthesis and use the surplus crafting resources you have to HQ it. I don't know if it's possible to HQ to 100% on Tome Mat's but I'd go with the guess of no, it isn't.

Try? Spam the RnG and see what you get but it isn't as though you would throw an NQ tome mat away so it's neither here or there.

You need
347 craft 340 control and 359cp to 100% HQ 2 star equips with NQ materials. But you need these skills
Lvl 50 Carpenter "Byregot's Blessing"
Lvl 50 Alchemist "Comfort Zone"
Lvl 50 Weaver "Careful Synthesis II"
Lvl 50 Goldsmith "Innovation"
Lvl 37 Culinarian "Steady Hands II"
Lvl 15 Blacksmith "Ingenuity"
Lvl 15 Leatherworker "Waste Not"

Without Comfort Zone you need 381CP.
Alchemy is ridiculously easy to level provided you have leves to spend.


Why are you losing the mat when you are trying to HQ? You not bothering to advance progress until you 100% quality? that is just wrong. Always leave enough Durability to finish the craft. You get have a chance to get HQ anyway.

I have made hq 2star gsm items with nq mats and I have 50gsm, 50cul, tricks of trade and rapid synthesis. You may not get to 100% hq chance every time but you can get 80%+ hq chance easily. The level 50 culinarian skill can get you your mats back if you had bad luck with hasty touches. Just practice on 80 durability 1 star items using no food. Then use the highest CP food available and go for the 2star 80durability items. Flawless synth is an aweful skill btw.
