DF Titan Win!! Is it possible?!? Heck ya!

Decided to get some practice in last night to prepare for the real thing.. cued up DF to give titan a go for the first time..

It took three tries.. but a WIN!

Everyone said DF was a waste of time for Titan.. but to those who believe... it can happen!

ps.. that was Titan HM in case you thought otherwise :)

Nobody ever said it was impossible; it's just not very likely. Congrats that you got a group that was geared enough etc. I've heard of people entering a duty finder for titan and getting paired up with a 7 man pre-made FC party who was just short one person. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Sometimes you get lucky and que up with 8 pro titan players that are just bored and want something to do. And as a tank all you need to know is stand here, pop cooldowns, don't let melee landslide your tail off the plat.

Got him once 2 days ago, took a while, but it paid off. (THM weapon drop) - Only killed him twice so far. It's like playing Russian Roulette.

I solo queued DF and beat him 6 weeks ago. I'd assume it'd be easier nowadays with ppl being more geared.

Also got my win three days ago from the DF.

So many PuG groups can't even defeat Garuda but some DF group can be magically great.

I imagine that as more and more people get wins and relics and start farming that DF win's will become more probable, as most times it will be 7/8 or 6/8 teams of farmers looking to pick up spares.

4 times and counting.

Need more 50s >.>

I queue up for Titan DF on my whm+1, just to stream it and maybe help some random group get a win. I'm sure other people do something similar. What else are you going to do after you put in your two days of CoB runs, and capping?

You probably got lucky and queued in with players that queued together or have done it before and are well geared. It's still a failure rate of 99 percent.

Anything is possible. In my second Garuda HM run the group won and I got my sword drop. I apparently used up all my luck though as I'm up to 15 DF groups and 50+ attempts at Titan HM without managing to beat him.

If you beat it in 3 tries and you were new to the fight, then you got carried by a 7-man premade.

Guess I was confused by all of the: "You can never dodge landslides" and "It's impossible to dodge AoEs" topics :p Congrats OP, it was always doable, you just generally have people that do DF not know a thing about the fight or can't meet gear checks.

While it wasn't a set team completely.. I do know there was one other WAR that said it was his first time... and he was kinda a non factor in the battle.. got pushed off the first two times.. and also only had about 5k hp, still wearing some of his AF..

Granted.. we scraped by the skin of our teeth on the fight.. but it was truly one of the most epic, memorable fights I have had! I literally broke a sweat by the end of it !
So fun!

So glad to see other people are posting they had a similar experience, or that it gives them hope... prior to this all I heard was Titan DF was a big waste of time.. it could be.. but hey.. its possible.

I will say.. Nighttime duty finder seems to work out better than morning/daytime Df groups.. just from my garuda experience :)
