So why bother wearing Snow and Lightning Costumes at all?

There's probably going to be no stats on them. They also said they aren't releasing vanity slots for 2.1. I am not wearing them in towns and fates for giggles. Will probably be condemned for wearing them in duties.

Same reason people were wearing the cascadier uniforms. Just for looks. Besides, you should have your gear sets saved, so it's not difficult to switch back when you're done goofing off in fun clothing.

What's the point of a ghost costume or a bikini? Clearly you won't run dungeons with them. Some people just like fun items.

1) All Stats for all Classes are on these gears at +1 or +2 (standard for Level 13 gear).
2) These are primarily in preparation for the Vanity Slots coming out in 2.2, or for wearing while leveling up Low Level classes.

There are stats to them, and they fit for that level. So kudos to those that wear the attire, because I think they are cool.

I did all my CNJ guild quests in my bikini... their useful XD but the lightning/snow gear actually have stats, i think their pretty nice for their lvl but below all my jobs so strictly for looks on my part :x

For fun. It has stats on them equivalent to dungeon drops for it's level, but that's it. I will be using them for vanity slots later. You don't HAVE to collect them, but I sure will. I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed FFXIII.

Since I'm a guy and will get Snow's outfit, I will probably use that gear for BLM, MNK, and WAR since he was mainly Ravager, Commando, and Sentinel (Warrior because of the axe) in the original.

The fact they have no vanity slots, now is ridiculous. :/
Another outfit getting put into my Retainer.
I personally want everyone's outfit from XIII. I also wish I could wear Snow's outfit as a female.
Moreso, Serah, Hope and Vanille's. I like all the character designs though. I miss Sazh and Fang. :c
You can put, your one and only Noel Kreiss in there too! :eek: Yeah but seriously Vanity slots please.

I did dislike FFXIII very much. I disliked the combat system the most. Having to job change every 5-10 seconds was the most annoying thing to me. I didn't even make it 20 hours in before i gave up and returned the game. But i didn't dislike any of the characters. I also liked that they're trying to make new female heros instead of just teen boys that sound like they're going through puberty. Big mistake adding this without vanity slots though. Not sure what the hold up on that is, they said it was ready before the game was even launched, but we're not getting it in 2.1? I think someone lied to us!

Having a good town outfit is crucial. Guess you never played XI. Seriously though, people will wear them around when they're just screwing around in town. Not everything in an MMO needs to have a purpose. Fluff is good too.

It's more of the fact people are tired of seeing her, 13, 13-2 and not even out yet one that has her all over it, and now in a FFXIV 14 FATE. even as overpopulated as cloud is he was still only in 1 game (not counting the movie and side games) where he was heavly centered around, but she has 3... she isn't even that interesting unless you're fond of robot personalites.

I didn't really care for any of the FFXIII characters my self and probably do to the voice acting. Generally with Japanese to English voice acting is a big issue especially with anime. I find there are is a ton of really good anime that I can watch over and over and love the characters but when I watch it English dubbed The character becomes annoying to me. I think this could be my problem with Lightning and the rest of the mystery incorporated gang. I do like how many of them look though. Just hate the characters.
