More patches, more maintence- more lagging?

Greetings. I and my friends noticed, that with each maintence or something like this game become more lagging. Does anyone have the same thought?

Haven't noticed anything myself.

I didn't notice anything, that really sounds like a placebo effect. Did you try zooming out your HDD?

Just a reference to when yoshi said players were failing to dodge on titan due to not zooming out their camera far enough (and not due to lag)..... kind of a meme in these parts now ;)

This Zooming "joke" isn't really funny anymore. It's just getting annoying. ( and this joke is on almost every thread) so it's not like I can bypass it >.>.

I lag less actually. Compared to the release of the game.

On shiva the maintenance actually seems to have caused issues. Not really in the form of lag but in form of short disconnects of 5-20 secs. I am having it myself since yesterday and hearing it a lot from friends and FC.

Worse then Arrow to the knee.

Placebo effect

Every time I start lagging I zoom out my camera and it fixes it. You really should try zooming out more.

I think they might be on your ignore list.

The last few days, I have been having packet loss with this game only.

It manifests itself as a stop every 3~ seconds with a quick catch up, the ping is fine, about 30-50 to server. It is now happening anytime of day for me.

FPS lag?

No. I never get any unless I'm at Odin or Behemoth.

Definitely not FPS, as I am a consistent 60 FPS on my System Configuration screen.. :\

Yoshi-p gave adviced to the players based off what they witnessed players doing at the game show this fall. Many players were having trouble dodging Titans attacks due to their camera being zoomed in too far. So he suggested players zoom out to make the fight easier. Which is absolutely does since having the camera zoomed far in makes it very difficult to see all the attacks such as the plums. Naturally a fair amount of the player base on these forums took this to mean that he considered this to be a complete solution and lag had nothing to do with it. Obviously that wasn't the case as he was only talking making the battlefield more visible, but it hasn't stopped people on the forums from making the same stupid joke repeatedly as if it actually means anything.
