Was this a a stealth addition? Just logged in to take a quick look at the boards, and noticed everyone has medals under their title now.

I think this is the pattern up to 1000 posts.

S = Silver, G = Gold

# of Posts Level

1000 GSSSS
2000 GG?

EDIT: Kilta now has 2Gs so I guess at 2000 or 2500 posts you have two golds.

Possible future configs if GG = 2000 posts

4000 GGS
8000 GGSS
16000 GGSSS
32000 GGG

I'm assuming having two Gs is equal to 5000 posts. I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

I think you're right, surprisingly 2000 or 2500 isn't GG, so it'll most likely be either 3000 or 5000.

To test that, we know that there is only one person capable of reaching that number anytime soon, so keep it up Kilta! gogogo! >.>

ya i know XD. Oh well I'm gonna laugh when people say you got "5 gold medals of stupidity/ aurguments" kinda reduntent imo. We do not need post counts or a gaudy icon to establish them.

Yeah, this would be a better idea. Right now, the medals are redundant. We already can see post count via the actual "post count" counter. It also gives the false impression that more posts = better poster, when we all know that that is not necessarily the case.

Many of the best comments that I've read so far have been by members with low post counts.

One thing, though - if we were to change it so that medals are an indicator of how many "likes" on has gotten, this could still be abused. For example, in one of my threads, I had a makeshift "poll" which was gauged by how many likes each option got. This would artificially inflate my like count. The medals would be more interesting if they corresponded to your rank/title when we join one of the Grand Companies, but that would have to be after they link up forum profiles to actual game player profiles.
