Are we sure it'll take only one of each?

So these are rare drops that are supposedly for when housing comes out... my question is: Are we sure that we will only need ONE Ifrit's horn to make whatever it'll make? Does that really seem like something Square-Enix would do?

I've never gotten one myself, but from what I've heard from people in my FC/LS, I was under the impression that you could only have a single Ifrit's Horn (for example) in your inventory at any given time (they're Unique and whatnot). If that's the case, It won't even be possible for a crafter to hold multiple of them if the craft called for it. So it's a safe bet you'll only need one.

No we arne't sure. it's also rumored that it will take multiple crafted items from multiple DoH jobs to create a piece of furniture themed after a Primal. The logistics of making furniture are not public knowledge yet.

While Destinova has a point, if multiple jobs are used to make them, it's possible that it COULD take more than one. We just have no idea right now.

Extremely likely that you only need one of each, however also very likely you will need other materials as well.

So, here's a good point...is it likely that only 3-4 jobs are going to be able to create these items that we know drop right now? Or will maybe each job need to create part of the item which will require 1 Ifrit Horn per job in order to create a full object by combining all of these crafted items.

Actually you can hold 2 at the same time.
1 on your inventory and 1 on your retainer, just like green gear / primal weapons.

Too little is known for what I said to even be counted as correct. We don't know that it will take multiple jobs in the first place. However, lets assume that it does for the moment, it would not be that far fetched to believe that the multiple jobs will need one of these items each, in order to put them together. I am thinking that if it is the case, that the FC leader will need to collect the crafted items and turn them in to an NPC of some sort who can put them together (similar to the relic weapons).

Again, this is speculation based on rumors, just not much known at this point. We will just have to be patient.

You still can't hold more than 1 on your person at a time since you can't craft stuff using materials on your retainer.

Unless they get the unique tag removed at some point there is no way an item requiring more than one of these mats is possible.

So if i make every +1 Relic weapon in the game I can make a chair out of them like Game of Thrones?

Could always be that the item crafted from these mats is not Unique and therefore you need multiple but can only have one at a time. That would be a pain in the butt but it is possible.

It's unsellable, not untradeable which means you can't sell it on the market but you can to other players via the trade option thingy.

Still when crafting only one can be used (the one on your person) but it's highly likely other items will be needed as well.

So craft one item. Then take another horn out your inventory and craft something else?

Not sure but there is also an ADS Frame to go along with the ADS plate. You can only hold 2 if one is on your retainer. So, i'd assume it would only take 1 of them item to get the furniture.

Which whilst is designed I highly doubt SE would do, unless you need so many horns from members of the FC, rather than use 20 retainers to store horns (Yes I know this is impossible.)

Technically, 3 in total. Don't forget you have up to 2 retainers.

I have 2 Hearts myself, but don't know what to do with the spare one. The buying prices are a little too low for my liking for me to want to part with it now.

Where, if I may ask, did the silly rumor come from that the primal and coil drops are in any way related to housing in the first place? We've heard very very little about what housing and crafting for the housing will entail so that just sounds like something that someone made up to con people into buying their primal items.

I believe in one of the Letter from the Producer Live sessions, Yoshi-P showcased some designs that said such drops would be used for FC housing. I saw a screenshot somewhere, and it showed the ADS from Turn 2, as well as Japanese text around it which mentioned that ADS plating (? not sure which part, but it's one of those said FC furniture crafting material item) being used for housing.
