Hi guys.
I used a fantasia to change the look of my character, but I'd like to go back. I thought there was a paid for option to do this but I can't see one. Am I stuck as a little Lalafell? :P

Hi guys.

For now, you are stuck as a lalafell.
Uh....oh!!!! I hope you did not get messed over with that.
There is another thread on here asking for this option to be in the Mog Station which I fully support. It really needs to implemented into the game ASAP. They're working on it, but seems an easy enough thing to do.
Square Enix is working on selling Fantasia potions and items that let you change your character's name on the Mog Station.
Ah ok, so temporarily stuck in a tiny body :p
Thanks peps
If you want to change anything on your head (hair, tattoo, facepaint), a barber is coming with 2.1
I'm not sure if they were planning to sell those items on Mog Station, but they did talk about them in the last live-letter I reckon.. Something about, that they definitely want that they can be received somehow, but as to how they do not yet know.
When you check under system > support desk from within the game there is a topic under frequently asked question informing you that you can use the "ask a question" function there to undo any unwanted changes and even re-obtain the fantasia potion under certain circumstances. Try it!
i still have my 2 fantasia potion
Two? How'd u get the second one?
One of the things that was offered for 1.0 characters was a chance to redesign there characters when they 1st logged in because of the new genders/options/color changes etc. Some characters did not translate well from 1.0 in general. Because of a mess up where you could not use character designs from the benchmark to change the design for 1.0 characters during Beta 4/early access, all 1.0 characters were issued an extra fantasia.
Sure add the potion but... restrictions once per year and it cost 20 mil from a npc, plus an additional 50k grand company points. Players need to learn to not make hasty choices. I have 2 that I wont use if i could sell them it would be a plus. Also I am not talking about character appearance, I am talking about your race.
my thread has been on the front page every day, how did you miss it? lol

It's not just a hasty choice. I spent time doing my looks, but the quality of characters change from the log in screen vs seeing them in world. Yes there are different lighting options in the character maker but things still don't seem to transition 100% from the character creation screen to actual in game world. Other than a few animations you don't see them all, colors seem to be a bit off, and so on.
I don't think it's anything game breaking if someone wants to change. The only thing that can be a potential problem is name change, that should be limited just so no one can use it to troll and what not.
