But wizard haven't seen a Wizard in a lot of games lately. I want it to come back. Help some undead have the title. I want it.

Wizard was in FF Tactics only as a poor translation of Black Mage (yes it is actually called Black Mage in the Japanese version). So basically it's the same thing. 'Wizard' is in FFXI.

By the way, I laughed so hard at the video link you posted, it was def not what I was expecting lol

I don't like the terms "black mage" and "white mage"

Wizard and Cleric are much better

That's like saying you don't like everything the Final Fantasy series is and stands for.

There is no Final Fantasy with White, Red, Black, Green, and Blue mages ^^

I personally like the names "Black mage" and "White mage." Words like Wizard, and especially Cleric, are too cliche.
You only see black/white mage in Final Fantasy games.

So to each his/her own.

FF5 and Tactics are 2 of my most fav but I just really don't like those terms

I'd like it if they went with more of the Tatics titles. Wizard (Black Mage) Priest (White Mage). I'd be very happy lalafel for the title wizard. I'd be so happy I'd Lalafel all over everyone's faces! :3

It's Butz in the original version. That's why they changed it for the English release, because it sounds too humorous and probably couldn't be taken seriously.

Terra from FF6 was also called Tina in the original; they changed it because it's too 'plain' in America.

Well if it dosent get implement... you can hope for the second best option, maybe a "Wizard" title ! ^^

We should be scouring all jobs I think that's what I've been doing all this whole time, anything from the FF would be ok, Wizard fits due to this being kinda of FFII mmo, with jobs added on top, they could use FFI advanced classes and do "Red Wizard" "Black Wizard" "White Wizard", I like white mage, black mage, and red mage, but the wizard thing still fits in with some FF lore so its a legitimate post.

If they want to implement a "wizard" class, calling it a Sage might be more fitting with the current class naming scheme. I don't know that they'd add a wizard job though, being as they have stuff like Red Mage and Scholar to fit the specialization.

In the Japanese version of FFXIV, Disciples of Magic are all called 'Sorcerer' classes.

Sabin was also called Mash in the original.

Black/White/Red Wizard. That would be so badass sounding over mage.

I think it would be cool if they did eventually bring advanced jobs so black mage could turn into black wizard, I loved that from FFI

Yeah a lot of people on the forums think wizard, and think we are just naming random jobs from other games when wizard fits in with the Final Fantasy lore.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.... :x

Anyways.. I like "Black Mage" better just because it's Final Fantasy. It brings back happy memories from many FF games. :3
The current classes don't help the game feel like Final Fantasy at all with their names. I'm happy traditional jobs are coming.
