There's an NPC in Revenants toll that can sell you pretty much equivalents.

If there is any FC selling runs, I'm sure it will be very expensive since they probably want the gear as well.

You can carry in Coil up to turn 4. I don't think people will sell for a bit though until they get what they need.

Or.... and stay with me on this, it's a pretty novel concept... you could try earning the gear by taking on the coil yourself.

Why wouldn't you just find a FC and run Coil with them? If your just going to pay your way through raid content... Whats left for you? Seems kinda sad to be honest.

Why in the world do people pay for things like this? He must have a fat wallet...

It's kind of pathetic that people are looking for ways to buy gear. This isn't Everquest II, you want gear? Get it yourself. Coil is a joke up to turn 5, and if you can't even do that then you probably wont be able to progress in this game. Don't worry though, they'll have casual 24 mans with i80 gear.

But sadly, it's going to happen regardless. If there's a market (the OP) you can be guaranteed someone will be selling it. Especially given that Coil is easier than Titan (no t5). But they're generally going to gear up their FC first.

Selling a Titan win is (obviously) different to selling Coil drops. The former only requires a win, and can even be repeated as many times as you want within a week ensuring easy satisfaction for sellers/buyers. The latter has turns that can only be done once per week, and you are not guaranteed the piece the buyer is necessarily wanting (unless you got some buyers who want to go crazy and get every gear set) ensuring difficult (and 'luck' based) sales and not worth the time.

This thread is a cancer to FFXIV. One of the best things about FFXIV is Coil and you would like to ruin all the fun by paying to be carried.

Find yourself a good FC, join a group permanently, learn the fight and earn your loots.

It doesn't matter if it's unique and untradeable. You can still sell it. What you do is sell 1 spot for turn 1/2. At the end when the gear drops you just have everyone but the buyer pass and the buyer gets the gear. Turn 1 can be 7 manned pretty easily. Turn 2 isn't bad either if you have enough silences with a 7 man (2 pld's solves that problem). If we didn't still need some stuff from 1 and 2 I would consider selling those spots for a few million, but 500k... no way, I've seen titan runs go for 500k.

I'm having trouble understanding why people care so deeply about it. It's his gil, he's buying a service that others are providing. People don't get mad when others buy gear off of the AH with excuses like "god I hate lazy people who can't craft their own gear. Why do they pay other people to do the hard work for them?!". Because it's pretty much the same thing. He earned his gil, now he's spending it.

He's spending his gil on what he wants, not you.

Because it makes BAD PLAYERS! And we all have to deal with them. I see so many +1 relic people that are the worst derp players. You know who they are, they only have the +1 and zero DL... Yeah its his gil, but I seriously call into question him earning it. Players who buy runs = people who cant play worth a damn or people who buy gil.

Two issues most people have I think:

- It encourages Gil buying to meet the inevitable high costs this sort of service would have
- It's easier for people to assume that people who are geared with the best sets are capable of doing the job they need to do when forming a pug for harder content when the gear they got was achieved through skill and not bought. Remember, we don't have an exact metric for player skill so gear is what gets resorted to.

Uh, buying gear doesn't make somebody bad. Being bad is what makes somebody bad.

As for gil, gil is very easy to make. I mean very easy to make. Especially considering the OP is from a legacy server, full of people with capped gil and such. But even then, it's not hard to make it on non legacy either. You can be rolling around in millions with a single lvl 50 craft, by making low lvl gear (20-40 range). I guess my sig fits in pretty well with this convo. Just because somebody has more gil than you, doesn't mean they bought it.

am a crafter i earned my gil with alot of time spent on crafting since 1.0 and it doesnt make me bad player smart players can learn mechanics in 5 minutes or less its not rocket science to master a job/class

If ppl have to carry you that wont work, is a group effort and if one person die it get progressive worse for the party to keep alive.
