Shinies!<Shiny> FC is now recruiting! We believe in Friends and Fun!

Are you tired of not feeling like you're part of a community?

Then Shinies! just might be the FC for you!

Our central tenet is GAO! (Good Attitudes Only!). People are what matters most and we're here to make lasting friends and build a real community on our server.

-Only friendly people with good attitudes are encouraged to join Shinies! Nobody wants to play with someone who yells at them or puts them down. The game is so much more fun with nice fun people!

-I work hard to keep Shinies! friendly and fun. If anyone from my FC trolls you or outright attacks you without provocation, whether you are in the FC or not, let me know (please provide screenshots if possible!).

-There is no discussion of religion or politics in FC chat as these topics only tend to lead to badness!

-Adult humor and cursing are fine so long as it isn't directed at fellow members. We are all adults, just do be mindful of the feelings of others, and if someone seems upset or offended, please try to be considerate of them.

-We prefer for members to be 16 or older. If you are younger than 16, please speak to me about your situation, and depending on your own personality and maturity, you may be accepted anyway.

-There are no gear, level, or skill requirements to join Shinies! We can teach you and help you level and gear!

-The only thing we're intolerant of is the Grumpity Grumpules who try to ruin the game for everybody else. Attitude is Everything!

-We are Rank 8 and we keep up 2 buffs everyday and have a set schedule on which to run them with the highest priority given to XP buffs. :)

-We currently have over 350 members(the vast majority of them active!) and are still growing! Our goal is 400 active members! We are currently the 3rd largest FC on the server!

-We have a special Linkshell dedicated to RPers called The Well of Souls!

-We Coordinate with 6 Shinies! Linkshells, run by me, to find even more people for Grouping!

-We form groups for absolutely everything and have 3 running BCoB groups with more on the way!

-We do tons of Primals, Relic Bosses, Crystal Tower, and Tome Farming runs so we're great for gearing up and love to help people learn!

-We also do lowbie dungeons and storymode dungeons and are a very helpful lot of people. Newbies are encouraged to join to get your questions answered and have people to group with!

-All of our members have chest access and it's easy to get your friends invited!

-We are greatly enjoying all the new content of 2.1 with frequent runs of CT, the New 4-mans, and some PvP!

-For Housing we're looking at saving for a large house for Gridania first and then two smalls or a small and a medium for the other two!

Looking for a Good FC to Merge Into?
As of right now, we are offering 'merger packages' for a couple more FCs who have nothing but nice people. The main thing that matters is that all of your people are nice and fit with our GAO! Tenet!
We only have room for about 150 more members total, so any FC with over 150 active members would probably not fit at this point!

Your FC leader will be given a special rank in our FC as well as your second and third in commands(if you have them).
You will be given your own special section on our forum(if you'd like).
You will all be happily invited to become a part of the wonderful Shiny pile, without having to lose any of your people!
With the new buffs and cost of points to keep them up, plus the new housing costs, merging could be greatly beneficial!
Despite our size we maintain a warm cozy feeling and do not hesitate to help out our members with anything and everything!
As a merging FC you will gain access to more friends and more perks! We keep up 2 lvl 2 buffs 24/7! =)
I'm always happy to discuss terms of merging and work out anything that really matters to you, the gm, or your members and officers!
Previously running static groups will not be affected by joining Shinies! You will be free to continue running your static just as it has always run, but have access to a larger FC from which to pull in new people when needed!
You will gain access to our forum which is used to build community and to help keep our Raiding rosters visible and organized (this forum is also available for Shinies! linkshell members who aren't in the FC!). :)

If you would like to get to know us and run some things with us before entertaining the idea of merging, you are free to join one of our Linkshells first with a few of your members and group with us some! Whether you decide to merge or not, you will always be welcomed in the Linkshells!!

We are looking for people now to get a Shinies! BCoB group rolling! We need a couple more Core DD and plenty of standbys! =D

Priority for BC groups goes to FC members first, but Linkshell members are also welcomed!

Right, because I shout once or twice a zone per day. That's so amazingly aggressive! I kindly offer to let people merge if they find themselves in a dead FC and do not feel like recruiting. If they are happy with their FC or want to recruit to build it up, they are also more than welcomed to join my Linkshells to be able to use Shinies! as a resource for finding groups without having to join the FC.

Aggressive? Hardly. At least I'm working to build a community on our server instead of just going around trolling people. *sigh*

Looking for 1 tank, 1 heals, and 1 DD(Ranged) for a Late night BCoB Group.
Will be starting at 11pm EST Monday/Wednesday/Thursday (Will be narrowed down to 2 of these days)

You do not HAVE TO join our FC to be in this raid group! You only have to join our linkshell and our forum! =D

We're now working on refilling rosters for groups B and C and thus have some openings. We also have an opening in group A for one ranged DD on Sundays from 5pm EST until at least 9:30pm EST

Looking for an FC that has more raid times that I can join in on. I live on the west coast, and the current FC I belong to does all there times on ET at 5pm, which makes it very hard for me to join any raids.

I have done Coil turn 1 twice and learned the fight pretty good, I have been in turn 2 once and we tried 4 times and quiet it. (still need to learn this fight)

Looking forward to chatting with you in game.

Sounds like a nice guild... I'm trying to find a nice late night home for myself. Work schedule has made it impossible for me to raid with FC last 3 weeks. Some nights I don't get out till 11:30 pm est. Almost in time for your late night group.

I may be leaving my current FC soon and I'm looking around. One thing that immediately sticks out is that you have a positive and helpfull attitude towards the game. Is there a particular time of day that is best to try and track down a player involved with your recruiting process? Just a rough estimate would be helpfull so that at I know when to try and look. Thanks.

Well, as much as I'm not normally involved in the recruiting process, I certainly can be :p. I don't normally get home from work though until around midnight EST, but if you're on then shoot me a /tell. o/

That's fine, as long as I know when I can find somebody I can ask a few questions. I have been with the same gaming clan for a long time accross multiple games. The decision to leave my FC is not one I make lightly so I just want to be sure I make the right choice. Thank you for the abrupt response :)

Any of our members can help assist you with an invite, but if you want lots of questions answered, I'm the best one for that. Yuyaki Chbiaki is my main, I'm on a ton, usually am on by noon EST and stay on til late night virtually every day, so it shouldn't be too hard to find me :)

If I'm not on Yuyaki, try looking for Altheras Cloudchaser or Lilathus Thelamir :)

We're now up to 150 members and still growing! =)

I have been thinking about looking for a new FC to join for some time now, so I just saw this thread and check it out. From what I read, I like how positive, patience, and fun you guys are when trying to help someone out. That is something I look for in a FC.

My current FC is nice and all, but there is barely anyone that would help me run some dungeons when I do need it the most. So the lack of finding people to do dungeon with is what drove me to look for a new FC. So I hope you guys are the one FC that I would like to call Home.

We do run a ton of dungeons and it's usually pretty easy to find at least one or two others who actually need what you're running and then you can usually fill out the remaining spots with those willing to help. :) It's one of the perks of being a large FC that has lots of friendly and helpful people. ^^ I'll keep an eye out for you in game! I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have too. :)

Still taking recruits for a while longer, as well as currently working on filling up our 6th Linkshell! ^^

Will be continuing to recruit openly until we hit about 450 members at which point we'll be instituting an application process.

As of right now we have 8 BCoB groups with more forming up as people become available for them! :)
