Been reported for over a week straight with no resolution and this guy still sit out there in the same spot botting and not only that if/when he dies he just teleport hacks right back to the spot where he was. Check it out for yourself. Oh forgot to say but this is on Balmung server and the guy is at the Banemites east of Float almost at the bridge. He has been out there all week you can probably go out there and he will still be there.

The bot is a peon, you get nothing from destroying the limbs, you have to aim for the head. To RMT the limbs are easily replaced via making new accounts or hacking other accounts. The only way to handle the RMT threat properly is to destroy the head the location to where the gil is stored. Well if you destroy the peons then no food comes in the kings get desperate and have to try other things that may be easier to tract or put tabs on. The trick is destroying their anonymity which as we know they haven't been able to do just entirely yet. I prefer the case-by-case method because players don't want to see the same bot farming for a week. To some it's very discouraging and gives off an impression that SE doesn't care, regardless of whether they do or not.

Did you actually do a GM call, too? I just use the "Harassment" option. I have reported a few botany bots and I seem them gone the next day.

HOwever, I am sure SE's prioritys right now are in the right place. I just dont know what they are. Probably endgame content -

I had to laugh at this. Good on ya for getting solid proof on a botter however...you openly admitted to using a 3rd party tool to collect your evidence. Hence you're as deserving of a ban as the botter is for breaking the ToS. Just thought it a bit of an ironic situation. Either way good job being observant, hopefully SE will do something, SOON, about the rampant botting/hacking taking place in the game.
