I like Gridania. Why? Because it's quiet, mysterious, not many people and also close to the Cortheas area. I hope that we can change cities because I feel more that my heart is in the woods. :)

jeuno is my fave
I like Gridania the best, although I'm not there most of the time due to Ul'dah being the populated city
Limsa Lominsa. I love being near the water at all times. Can't wait until they balance leves in other areas so maybe people will start drifting back to my home
Gridania.
It's the prettiest.
The end.
Limsa Lominsa. I hate Ul'dah and hate that everyone moved there.
There is just something about the music, the land, and the mobs that makes me feel at home.
Brings me back to opening day
Selbina is easily the best
Hahah I hate Ul'dah too. after I'm done playing I feel like I need a shower again.
If anything I like Gridania. I love tress and like to just chill. Too bad on Fabul server grid is very quiet.
Limsa is cool, birth town for VL. So it will always have a special place in my heart lol. XD
I'd like Gridania if it weren't so spread out and the Black Shroud wasn't so...gridded (GRIDania, I see now....)
Limsa for me hands down. I really like Ul'Dah but something about Limsa being near the water and just the way the city looks I love it and for some reason it reminds me of San'Doria and that was my favorite city back in FFXI. As for Gridania, much like I hated Windurst, I can't stand Gridania and there is no relation connecting the two other than them both being so stupidly cumbersome in their design. Atleast Sarutabaruta wasn't as bad as the Shroud.
Like: Gridania.
Hate: Ul'dah.
Ul'dah.
In beta I got a look at Limsa, and it was a beautiful town with good music. When the game went live I decided to try out Gridania, and I hated it! I had to make a new character and Ul'dah was the only town left. I fell in love right away.
I don't like any of the 3 city-states.
A tough call between Gridania and Limsa when it comes to beauty, but when it comes to efficiency, I much prefer Ul'dah.
Windurst. XIV towns have zero personality for me to like or dislike them. I've yet to come across a single NPC that I could call a real character with a straight face. They're all empty shells with no soul.
I dont like any of them. They feel dead, dull and boring. Very lifeless.
Favorite Limsa, 2nd: Grid, most hated: Uldah.
..... really wish people didn't congregate there.
Limsa Lominsa would always hold a place in my heart....as will La Noscea. In fact, I love the entire island of Vylbrand.
Gridania comes in close second....except the Black Shroud just makes me go nuts with the mazes.
Ul'dah.
I don't like the sand, but the other cities are so inconvenient and spread out.
Aht Urhgan. :3
Limsa has the most attractive atmosphere to me altho it does sadden me since the majority of us are all laying around in ul'dah feels like a bit of a waste of all the other enviroments
Limsa, hands down. When The Maelstrom starts accepting recruits I'll be there in line.
I don't like the cities because they make the stupid Depth of Field problem more obvious.
I max out Depth of Field and yet it still looks like a moving curtain of cellophane is being pulled back every time I move.
Anyways, I like Limsa the best. Gridania seems a bit like a rough draft. And Uldah is simply boring now from repeated usage (little replay value).
My favorite is Gridania (my starting city) and Ul'dah is my least favorite. Limsa Lominsa falls between the two of them.
I like Gridania the most. I love looking up and seeing the canopy, I love the streams and the trees and the music and the atmosphere in general. I can't recall the area off the top of my head, but I love the area in the black shroud where he land is elevated and you can look off the sides of the cliffs and see the roots of the trees. I also really like the Gridania story missions.
It's suprising to see that a lot of people hate Uldah. I hate it too and I regret to have choose it as my main city. I wonder why everyone when to Uldah........
Ishgard...
What!? i know a secret entrance... :p
Limsa because of Merlwyb.
I did love Limsa Lominsa in Alpha but i got bored as it was the only choice early on. I think Gridania is beautiful although i ended up in Uldah along with most.
I like Ul'dah for the convenience.
I love Limsa for the oceans.
but
I wish I had started in Grid... now that I'm used to it, it's actually very easy to navigate and I love it. I am very heavily considering joining the Grand Companies there but it depends on the information they will continue to release.
Gridania alway my fav
Ul'dah is hands-down undoubtedly my place-to-be in XIV. Gridania on the other hand, I cannot stand.
I despise green sceneries. Forests, jungles, or the likes thereof are just ridiculous and rarely if ever show any sense of originality. On the other hand, very few people actually treasure the rigidness and stubbornness a savanna like Thanalan has to offer. Not to mention that it should be less populated by the masses and more populated by the strong (which is why I wish Limsa were the center with Ul'dah being its own island).
Ul'dah is prob my favorite. I didn't like the design of Limsa Lominsa during beta. Also did play in Gridania during beta for a little bit but wasn't too big of a fan either. I felt it was designed a bit better than Limsa, but i think Ul'dah was better designed overall.
Gridania! It is my starting city and I have always loved forests.
I just hope that Grand Company content is not made so you have to join the same one as your friends to play together (if there's even any group content like that), 'cause there's no way most of my LS wants to join Gridania's. xD
Limsa Lominsa for Life.
not really any of them
Limsa, of course.
I will be joining the Maelstrom
