What's your HP at?

I have full DL with ilv90 bracelet & ring, got my relic on both WHM & SCH, but my HP still stays at 3365 (311 vit). Usually I don't really mind it that much since I can still survive titan storms. But recently I've seen a lot of AF1 healers with ~4k HP, some pt even require at least 3500hp to join their titan run, then I even got checked at after joining a grp & ppl see my pathetic hp...

Am I doing something wrong? o_O

I have almost 3500 HP, but...

I have the Vanya Robe + AF1 Helm and Gloves. The Vanya + AF1 Helm offer 38 Vitality vs. the 32 on your Cowl, and the gloves offer 18 Vitality vs. the 12 on your gloves.

Your ilvl 90 bracer and ring don't have Vitality on them, btw.

full dl gear, relic
(1 ring fending, 10 vit) and 7 points spec'd in vit)

3728 (3800 or something in party)

with some cheap food, 3900ish


could easily be more if i was melding vanya so 4000+ yea but don't know of anything that really needs it yet

WHM: I'm at 3640 something. That's with full DL and Relic+1, and with every attribute point going in to Mind.

Not sure why yours is so low...

With food and tank party buff, in the range of 4060.

3728 standalone according to The Lodestone.

SCH Omnilex +1 All DL body, rest strategos. 30 points in mind. I sit at around 3650 with cheap food and party vit bonus.

3.7k HP. Unbuffed, out of party.

2 Armor pieces of Allagan (Gloves, Headgear), AF+1 Body (Cleric's Robe) and Relic+1.
I came across a WHM in a titan party today who had 4k and was wearing darklight, but the person pretty much sacrificed all their accessories to be Vitality ones - and some crafting ones to slot in a bit of Vit.

As much as the 3.5k HP thing is a safety net, it shouldn't be required. I've said it a hundred times before but there's been plenty of healers who've beaten Titan HM with 3k HP alone, including myself on my first completion.

This, I was literally just talking to someone on Reddit who was told they needed 3.5 minimum to heal Titan. While it's nice to have, it's definitely not required. I got my first kill on my Scholar at 3.4k, and more recently my White mage at 3.3k (had to use WP weapon as 1.5 weeks of capping my solely in Garuda/ifrit proved to be fruitless).

I'm not super awesome at avoiding damage and understanding boss mechanics, and hoping to bolster my survival by having a few more HPs from putting points in Vit... which is probably misguided since so many MMOs mechanics are live or die :( Oh well.

I miss turn-based FF games, and wish SE would make a turnbased FF game ;)

Seems like requirements for anything are getting higher and higher. Starting to see shouts for Fate parties with requirements. Shouts for Titan with relic required (facepalm), every single dungeon seems to be relic required now. I refuse to play with these people, I have my relic +1 but I'd rather just duty finder it if there are no friends on to run with.

I'm not sure but I don't think 2.8 is enough to survive 1 Weight of the Land. Ideally you shouldn't be getting hit by it but shit happens and not going down instantly can save a run. 3kish is easy to get anyway, I think you get around 3.2k with a mix of AK and DL gear, and going after the former will end up with you being able to buy some of the latter, or vice versa.

probably people wanting to get carried through stuff that require all that high crap (that you get by doing that stuff - Relic anyway). If you wanna join, just say, ok check me, but I am checking you too oh and if you stand in avoidable crap, im not healing you....

3.5k is pretty excessive for Titan. 3.2k minimum to survive a WoL with Stoneskin up, and to survive Geocrush and Earthern Fury if you're weakened.

If you suck at dodging, 300 extra HP isn't going to save you.

Wouldn't surprise me. I've seen those shouts, too. It makes me facepalm so hard, and then feel bad for people for whom those shouts are the only way for them to get into WP or AK other than the DF. I have a circle of friends I always pug with, and we've even carried people with like, white-quality weapons through AK.

3583 Outside a party as a SCH with Full DL, Relic +1, and 10 points into Vit. In a party it's very close to 3.8k

3626 in full party without food as WHM.

For Titan I had 3300-3400 in party. That's enough to even survive a bomb if you'd get hit for any reason. 3300 in party is enough for Titan for any role but tank.

About 4100 as scholar. Goin to switch around some stuff to try getting that to at least 4300. After so many twister attempts all I'm thinking about is vitality after mind and crit.

I have only seen the adds so far, just before Twisters but that's what I heard as well. So far I'm getting the impression it's a 1-shot mechanic that just needs to be avoided.

Your HP is fine for the content you are on. Turn 5 of coil will require you to have 3800 HP. You will get this from your i90 gear that drops in coil or from myth purchases.

I saw a drop in my HP when I upgraded to full DL and purchased the hero's ring. You do not need more than 3200 HP and anyone who thinks there's i70 gear that will give you more VIT without sacrificing a lot in mind is mistaken.

Around 3,2~3,3k is what you need to live through 1 hit of WoL or 1 bomb on a healer. And around that hp you get to live through tumults somewhat comfortably.
Anything beyond 3,3k hp is a bonus and you should not sacrifice mind for it ever when attempting Titan.

Basically if you'r doing Titan for your relic and are below 3,3k hp, replace one or two of your weakest accessories with cheap HQ lvl 49 vit or tank AK vit accessories.
Don't go overboard beyond that.

4,200 In Party without food (Scholar) , ~4,500 with food

4337 solo without food. 4496 in party without food. Haven't tried with food yet. I'm a scholar.

i think bcoz of what race that you choose.. bcoz last time i'm using a midlander hyur.. then i got the potion that allow me to change my character race.. so, i change my race to highlander hyur.. what surprised me was my intelligent drop to below 370 which is lower when i was a midlander.. (at that time was about 390 for my intelligent).. u know, highlander has low intelligent than a midlander.. but that's ok, bcoz now my main job is bard, not a summoner anymore.. i guess my vitality is increased when i'm using a highlander than a midlander.. then u know race is some kind of effect ur status too..

i think u r using a Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon, which has the lowest vitality together with Lalafell Dunesfolk..

Because any hit of any consequence is a one hit in Coil.

I have 3-4 DL pieces, AF2 gloves, relic (not +1), a plain HQ accessory and the rest is AK.
3600 normally, in good parties even 3800.
I spent some of the attribute points in vitality (something like 1 every 7-8) and the rest in mind and piety, now I have good vitality and good heals, about 850 with non-critical Cure without any buff.

Around 4800HP with food 5000 in party (full ilv90 gear)

So do many WHMs go 15vit/15mnd in their point bonuses? It was recomended to me by one of my friends and since he is an amazing healer I'm considering doing it; I just don't want to fudge up my healing potency too much. I was thinking about melding VIT into my 3 accessories which would give me VIT+12. That way I can still get my DL accessories and toggle between them when it comes to fighting Titan (without having to subtract from my bonus points in MND).

I've been considering doing 15VIT/15MND because my Coils group is going to start seriously trying Twintania this week. I think in a party, buffed, and with food, I have 4100~HP. I could use more, though.

I guess taking the -20 point deduction in overall healing power is over-lookable then?

This is a bad idea because of how valuable mind is. You should do 30 mind. You can always get i70 crafted accessories and meld vitality on them, but any HQ crafted items you have will already be capped on mind. i90 Myth and Coil gear will get you the vit that you need for t4/t5 and if you really need more, just get atral/rose gold accessories with a Vit IV meld.

They just nerfed turn 5 to make the mechanics more avoidable but less forgiving if hit.
