oh followed sometimes by unable to update na/eu char list. checked my connection and its not me so... starting to wonder if its worth 15 bucks a month for a game that works 75% of the time.
The Lag is HORENDUS right now on Sargatanas..... all I've been doing since I've got home from work is synthing culinary recipes and it has got quite bad up to 1 or so minutes before the next action can be used.... please fix the servers and reduce this lag
Hyperion is lagging terribly as well. I was in a fight with the enemy at 1 hp for a good 20 seconds and then error 9k'ed out. I thought there was a notice posted this morning that these problems were fixed?
I'm having the same issue here too on Leviathan server.
Though today is the only day I've had it happen to me.
Same, Mateus server. Random times, everyday.
SE needs to get their shit together or I'm just not re-subing. Too many issues with this game that should have been fixed prior to launch. WTF.
Same issues here, Excalibur server here. This is getting pretty stupid. They keep saying its on the players end but I know for a fact its not. Please get on this and do your job and fix it. This has been going on for weeks now. This should of been taken care of quite some time ago.
Yeah, it's so bad right now, I can't play unless I want my character to die a lot, lol. I've -never- had any type of lag until today.

I to have been having realy bad lag spikes or what appears to be them when connected to cactuar(NA). I have Comcast blast+ internet hers my speedtest to an area that the NA servers are near http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3050497528 and heres a link to my pingtest results from same general area http://www.pingtest.net/result/88224285.png As you can see i have decent speed and no packet loss or problem with my line itself. Today when i loged on there was virtualy no way to play, the lag was making it take over 30 seconds per crafting action and I was getting constant 90k errors however when i connect to any of the JP servers there is no lag at all and i didnt get the first 90k error. This would be realy nice if it was fixed ASAP.
Lag is crazy on Giglamesh also, just tried to heal a run, big mistake... spent 5 mins running around healing only to have someone tell me on vent 'you've been dead for 2 mins'
Same problem for the last 2-3 hours on Adamantoise. Might have been longer, didn't play between last night (when everything was fine) and a couple hours ago (eastern time zone). Countless 90000 errors, and no internet problems with anything but XIV.
Had this issue for the last 2-3 weeks now, on Moogle.
Same here. Main quest is in a zone flooded with Fate-levelers, which doesn't really help much either. Would be nice if this got fixed since it makes the game somewhat unplayable.
Same here. The lag on Excalibur tonight has been really bad. Been getting 90000 errors which I've not had for a few months now. Been kicked off like 4-5 times within a few hours. It's a good job I'm not doing anything major on the game isn't it!
There are documented issues in routing with third and fourth parties that need to be addressed to facilitate better diagnosing at SE's end. Need to attack this from both endpoints, as either your ISP or SE's ISP (or both) may be the one with the agreements to use these other ISP's as routing partners.
open resmon or run netstat to find the IP your client connects to while in game... it should start with 199.
Run tracert, pathping, or similar report tool to that IP, copy/paste the results into your bug reports to both your ISP and SE so they can investigate any potential issues in route, and hopefully get the responsible parties to clean up their shoddy service. Then maybe SE can better pinpoint issues that may need addressing on their end.
and again today about the same time it starts again...
boom error 90k and horrible lag AGAIN TODAY. we should be getting free sub-time as well as updates on how the fix is goin yet we get shit and silence.. im not resubbin till they do something this is ridiculous.
Yep. Just tried to heal a run and had freezes up to 30 seconds at a time. Obviously the game is unplayable in this state. It is not me, it is server side.

I'm on Balmung, I've had no issues with lag since I've started this game, until today... >.< Massive lagging so bad I can't craft... bye bye company engineer manual thing for exp, as I popped it right before it started this and its been erroring me out constantly. :/ So much for my goal for today, and I've been losing my crafting mats due to all the DCing with this error. I really hope this gets fixed. x.x
Same problem on Lich (EU) which isn't even a heavy pop server.. been going on for weeks as soon as peak hours show up it's a slideshow.. And then you get the abusive kids on your ass because you took an AOE while you were on the other side of the room.. getting old now..
