[ Level Sync ] <can i have it?> <please> <thankyou>

my friends and i want to party up and go kill stuff outside dungeons, but we cant because no one gets exp for doing so...

44 WHM, 34 PLD, 28 PUG, 22 MAR.... the only thing we can do together is dungeons or fates, dungeons are shit exp and well after the DD nerf its kinda clear SE doesnt want us fate grinding... soo i was thinking maybe LEVEL SYNC party's??
i figure if they can level sync DUNGEONS, MISSIONS, DUTY MISSIONS, FATES, and just about every other piece of content in this game...

The thing is, the game has been set up in a way that the best way to grind XP would be Dungeons and FATE's (i believe the Guildhest are Level Synced too). Even if you all were at the same level range, killing monsters outdoors gives less XP then doing Dungeons. On the other hand, it would be nice to have a level sync on the Guildleve's too.

A friend of mine was commenting about this last night.

FF games we have played have groups of people going out and adventuring together all the time.

All I see this is an asian-bound grind fest focusing on being solo on the overland but grouping in dungeons, with minimal quests.

Ugh. Wish they would realize it doesn't fly well over here in the west.

I would love a mentoring or even just an auto-level system so you can do stuff together.

I like how them nerfing one part of one fate means the entire system is now shot, and I'm fairly sure that since the company is Japanese, they're going to prioritize what "flies well" in the 'East' over the 'West'.

I would like Level Sync as well.

FFXI had level sync. Please don't wait until FFXIV 4.0 to enact. Squeenix already developed it for a previous game to encourage party play. You already have it enabled for dungeons and FATES. Allow us to enable for Party Play.

Other games have had level sync too like Everquest 2. Guildwars 2 you sync to around the level of the mobs around you. That would also work for me.

dungeons aren't shit exp

dungeons are actually (in my opinion) the best exp in the game for healers and tanks.

no waiting around due to fast queues, you're never sitting in one place waiting for blue circles to spawn, running to it and its over in 2 minutes, then you get to do it all over again.

I leveled my healer and tank though DF, and it was significantly more fun than fates, and I averaged 1 and 1/4th of a level per dungeon that only takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

hell at around level 40, in 4-5 kills you make the same amount of exp you would have made doing a single fate, and killing those 4-5 mobs are ridiculously easy

Not to mention, you are also getting on par or better gear then your quest gear at the same time :)

Sigh. Obliged to write "ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, INSIDE OR OUT OF INSTANCES" or SE won't get it right.

i also have been wondering about this since the beta
why did they make the sync only for fates and dungeons, when they can just make it for the entire zone? just like in GW2
it'll be more logical and easier for them to apply

GW2 did feel pretty shitty when you were level 80 and you were synced down to lvl 1 or something around there for the starter zone automatically. You don't feel nearly as strong if you can never come back and obliterate low level mobs.

They should make it nice and simple like FFXI. Just when you make a party allow the party leader to sync the level down to a selected member's level. ezpz

a level 80 going to level 1 zone is still OP, you can pretty much 1 hit every mobs there

i never play FFXI so i don't know that option
but i guess zone sync is also good for rare mobs problem (where people competing for the spots)
if everyone's synced to the zone's level, it'll be a fair fight
