Best choice for Oceanic/Australia player

I searched for this topic and only found some older posts, so while the server transfers are up what is the best server an Aussie girl?
Obviously having the right time zone is important but I'm also looking to reduce ping, currently I am on an EU/NA server and it is so bad I can't complete a lot of the later game stuff. Moving out of an effect can still kill me as It's up to 4 seconds behind.
I assume it is a server issue as several other Australians on the same server have the same problem and I've heard that JP servers might be a better option.
So, If anyone can give me some help or ideas I would really appreciate it :)

Tonberry has a very lively SEA+AU+NZ population, with two or more large FCs.

I have heard that Tonberry is the 'Unofficial' Oceanic realm, but I've also heard it's fairly full, does anyone know if it is part of the free transfers?

Or for the ping issues am I just better off moving to any of the JP realms? I've read that the difference can be huge and seeing as I am getting up to 4 second delays in combat anything is an improvement :D

Tonberry & Masamune (Legacy) is the way to go

Good thing you are moving. Go to Tonberry. NA server got some players who are sexist. Heard those sexist comments in dungeons and pretty bad.

That's a pretty big stereotype you're throwing out there. I haven't met one sexist person in all of Hyperion yet.

That being said, if you're an Aussie, the JP servers will give off better performance for you- and that will matter when it comes to fights with a lot of dodging, such as Titan. so I'd go with the previously mentioned suggestions.

An Aussie girl would be most suited to Gungnir. :p

But really. we have a smallish EN speaking community on Gungnir now. most of us are in the same time zone as JST(AU) which helps. But if you're looking for highly populated servers (for Au players) Tonberry would be your best bet.

I am on Tiamat and in an FC called Wildlingz.

On Tonberry now. Tons of AUS/SEA players. Just look at the post count in the Tonberry forum!

Unless I'm doing it wrong - and I could well be lol - Tonberry isn't on the transfer list at the moment :(

Tiamat is second choice.

You need to try transferring at off peak hours I suppose. We already have some new member in our FC who transferred into Tonberry last night.

Masamune and tonberry have a lot of oceanic n other players. But I do suggest visiting the Oceania forum on guildwork n read more on the various shell n fc in the different servers there. Hope it helps

We have a fair bit of population on Behemoth, also it is a native english speaking server meeting new people is pretty each as I can see, latency is our battle always, but if you internet connection is decent and using one of the ping reduce problem "Battleping, Smoothping , etc" all content is doable, we cleared coil turn 2 last night.

I suspect even with JP server, there are still delays.

Moved from Behemoth to Tonberry with my friend, Less lag, better Ping times and even the population seems better, friendlier and willing to lend a hand.

Behemoth had none of that.

Edit, Personally not a good idea to transfer to a Legacy server, as once you are there you're stuck there so to speak..

I think I'll try to get on Tonberry If I can fluke it off peak. Thanks for your help everyone :D

Behemoth has heaps of Oceanic guilds btw, most of them Aussie.
