Ran cutter's cry last night to complete gc hunt, and noticed debuffs no longer show up to the left of protect anymore. What's even worse is that if someone has 6 pluss buffs you might not even notice the downward buff ie poison/sludge. It is a good thing I like to swing my camera around to look at shines ... Errr other things going on around me. Since that allows me to notice when other toons take dot damage.
On a completely off topic note. I am loving the fact that I now have enough spell speed to cast esuna on the move.
Tldr Debuffs no longer to left of protect. Then I brag about fast casting of esuna.

Toon is used in GW2, WoW it was used by the Japanese in FFXI.

This is pretty frustrating. Debuffs are being prioritized after freaking long-duration buffs like food, stoneskin, and Protect. I don't understand why they would change this.

I noticed this during AK earlier today. I have my party menu on the left side of my UI in the center to ensure that I can watch everyone's health and the general area around my character at the same time. However, if someone in my party has 4 buffs, I cannot see the rest if they happen to get anymore. If someone in my party (say, a Monk) had been hit by the debuff and they had five icons on their party menu, I wouldn't even notice until I tried to heal them. I know it's not exactly severely debilitating as I suppose I could move my party menu, but it'd be a huge nuisance to have to adjust what I'm used to because of this. I doubt it would help anyway, I guess we'll have to wait for the fix.

I'm finding this frustrating as well, especially when it comes to diseases in AK. The debuffs aren't showing up on the group window, and I have to hope with any effects going around that I spot the spell (luckily for the first boss it looks a lot like eye for an eye, and for last boss it's an obvious breath with a cast time). When I have someone clicked it's also usually near the end of their buffs.
I have however noticed that the debuff from the granite gaols (spelling) on titan do at least stay near the front of the buffs. -

Ffxiv and ffxi has had me on them for the huge reason of having a believable world with a feeling of life in its story, world, characters and art style. I've noticed this as well. It hasn't been game-breaking for me yet, but it is annoying. Memorizing your group's buffs is about all you can do. Not much you can do if there's too many effects and the bad one isn't displayed, though.
To be fair... Tom, Jerry and Donald Duck have been around since like the 50's or 60's. Animation has been VASTLY improved since then (not that you could tell if you happen to be watching South Park). Animated characters are cartoons, regardless of how well drawn they are. Using "toons" seems weird to me, but not inaccurate.Quote:
