ERROR (-20002) when logging into the game

I was in Lower La Noscea when some error came up and booted me from the game. Now after I enter my username & password to log in this error comes up: ERROR (-20002)

After checking the SE Support Center, there is nothing in the database that says what that error is. Does anyone know off hand or can a mod check it out?

I was just in a leve party with my linkshell and the game crashed immediately, not the usual r0 or anything. Never crashed like that before for me and now I am getting the same thing. It either says maintenance in other languages or the -20002 error. I get the same errors when trying to log into the SE Account management site as well.


FYI I'm on Wutai and I was in nanawa mines.

Same here just logged and was checking retainers when it crashed.

Same. I just got kicked from Trabia. An LS mate got kicked an hour before me.

Damn it, I bet the system still thinks we're logged in to the system...

You know I love this game, but junk like this really burns my butt, if any DEVS are reading this please could you first deal with the tech problems FF XIV has. Between game lag, UI lag, graphical glitching/artifacts and now ever increasing crashing, it's testing even my limits.

SE has away been a brand that to me exemplified innovation and quality and I have always trusted them for that, but this game is anything but, please your going to start loosing fans like me who've been playing SE game going back to days of when they were Square Soft.

For crying out loud I bought King's Knight when I was a kid!
