Leviathan area?

I did some exploring and got to the Saharin area, wich is curious that it is between 2 areas.. but anyway... I noticed the leviathan (or so I think) symbol.

Is there currently a way to access to reach it?

The Sapsa Spawning Grounds? Yes, you can access it through a small tunnel past the Tidegates.

And can you "see" leviathans aetherial crystal?

if so.. i need to go there again and explore.

You can, it's somewhere in there.

You can't reach it yet, but it is back there.

You can reach the crystal no problem. It's in there across a few bridges on a small island. Nothing to do there except kill mobs for Hunts/Relic Reborn though.

Semi-related, but you can also see Ramuh's crystal too in Sylphlands

Also, Shiva's crystal in Coerthas Western Highlands

(at least I assume it's hers... Not sure what else it could be)

So. Just out of curiosity, because I am genuinely confused: how can people get to 50 while missing so much of the world? I mean, granted I started exploring the world in beta, and even during early access I was exploring Coerthas and Mhor Dhona before level 20 (actually at the time I think I was running around as a level 10 fisher). I found most of these areas weeks ago, just as part of general world exploration. Not to mention most of these areas you get directed towards during story quests and hunting logs. So, why is it only now people are noticing them? It seems strange to me.

Of course it is possible I did things backwards from everyone else, but to me half the story was intentionally directing you around the map to explore, and I took that as an invitation to keep exploring and map the realm.

Well we did questing or FATES and had no need to explore every corner of the world.
Or me having 50ś and being legacy had no neeed to explore untill now

Yeah, I have friends who haven't even completed a single zone map. They are actually missing out on serious exp for that -- more at high lvls obviously.

I wish there were more rewards for exploration. Even a minion would be nice.
