Currently when you set Show Battle Effects to :Limited, it doesn't show the attacks, but it shows purple glowing around casters. I'd rather NOT see the purple glow.
What I'd like to see instead, is an indicator if they're doing an AoE, in the style of the green outline that friendly NPC's use in quests/fates.
Also for running Praetorium, change the Magitek attack animations setting. Currently it's set to non-party PC's, which I always leave off. Change it to the party member's selection please.

We realize that the Limit Break effect is not being displayed when the option to "Show Limited" effects is selected in the Battle Effects Settings and we understand that this could be problematic in the heat of battle. The dev. team plans to address this and will make it so the LB effect is shown even when the "Show Limited" option is selected.

Show Full, show the full Effect
Show Limited shows some of it
Off just show and HP or buff or damage it dose -

Some people dont want the limit break effects shown because the level 3 magic dps limit break (meteor) is very bright and obstructs your view for a few seconds. Not being able to see anything for a few seconds in certain fights will get you killed.
Consider creating an option that specifically hides limit break effects or tone down the brightness of meteor. -

Oh No! now I'll have to keep ALL the Battle effects turned totally off! Sad indeed! :(
I'm totally serious.. I'm not being sarcastic at all. I'd honestly prefer it to stay how it is, so I can at least enjoy some animations while not having to be totally be blinded by Limit Break at a point in time that is often important to be aware of your surroundings during a fight.
Some of the animations, like Holy, Blizzard, and others are awesome, but they can be hard on the eyes when exposed to it on a regular basis. -

why not just simply add an option like "Show Limit Break Effects"?
and if you want to get fancy you could add one more option for people who don't want to disable the Limit Break effects. an option like, "Simplify Limit Break Effects".
also if you are going to mess around with the display of Limit Break effects. then you may as well go all out. and let us choose if we want to see Alliances LB's, Other PC's LB, Party LB or show everyones LB. -

Phooey, now I gotta disable all the effects, and the worst part is that it also disables stuff like AOE ground abilities like Shadowflare and Flaming Circle Arrow Thing.
Best solution would be individual options for everything. -

Need to ask a question. I am trying to turn it back on so I can see my groups DoT's but can't figure out where I turned them off. Was it in the battle effects settings on show limited? I don't want to see all the animations and such just the DoT's. Thanks for the help. :)
