Mythology Reset during maintenance?

Does anyone think that Mythology will be reset again during the maintenance?
Me and my FC are farming Mythology today just in case, but what are the community thoughts?
It's a hopeful and if it does happen it will be by mistake, but it would be nice.
It might happen simply because the maintenance is on a Monday and it would be one less thing for them to have to back up during the maintenance.

I was thinking this as well, i have just began spamming AK just in case of a reset after maintenance, but chances are i don't think it will reset :(

highly doubtful, the cap only resetted during the vey first maint. IIRC, all maint./patches etc. since then have kept the cap for obvious reason.

Damn! You just messed that up I was hoping that SE would screw up and reset, But you just had to post on the official forums so now some dev is going to be "OH hey guys make sure we DON'T Reset Myth tomes this time".

Was 5/8 AK runs done guess I'll just log out for the day now.

I'm pretty sure it wont. It's timed to happen on specific time, not after maintenance.

Many weeks ago, there was a bug that caused some players' mythology totals to not reset at all or in some cases reset multiple times. The maintenance normalized this by fixing the bug and simply resetting everybody.

Maintenance in general doesn't reset mythology totals.

It's monday. they reset anyways. ._.

I think the Weekly Cap will go from 300 to 400...

If that's the case, then I smell +1

There was a Dev post a while back saying that the one Myth reset back near the beginning was a bug and it wouldn't be repeated. No, I'm not going to dig up that post. Nor do I fully believe it, but it seems unlikely to reset.

As for the most recent patch information:
"The number of areas where you can acquire Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy and Mythology will be increased as well as the amount you can acquire."

Awesome. Guess we'll see what happens. If they 'do' increase the cap, it may get reset anyway. I'm no expert in coding, but there's a good chance it may be easier for the devs to go ahead and reset it because, as I presumed, it's more data that will need to be backed up for each character on the server. They may find it more effective to reset everyone during the cap increase; or, it may even be necessary.

My suggestion; grind it up today.
