NEW EVENT JUST STARTED!?!

Okay, so let me tell you what happened. The following occurred at 5:40 (PM) CST, May 15.

On Trabia server @ Camp Horizon. GM appears named Urianger Augurelt. He appeared with a NPC named Roysia. The NPC was telling us about false prophets of doom or something along those lines. Then the GM started speaking in French... with my limited knowledge of the language I was able to catch words like "supreme purification" and "impending".

Edit: I believe this has something to do with the new Umbral era.

NPC dialogue:

Roysia: Aetheryte camps are important outposts that not only maintain peace throughout the region, but also serve as hubs for travelers and traders across the realm. This is why we simply cannot allow the disruption of their operation. Might you lend us aid in keeping the camp safe?

You can start by spreading the word that the city-state will not tolerate this type of behaviour at public camps. Tell these dastards to peddle their fear elsewhere or they shall be thrown in a cell so far underground that only the rats will pay them any heed.

(After saying this Roysia gave me (us) buffs: movement speed +, max HP and MP+. There is also a chance that is was the GM who buffed us before leaving.)

Has been going on since last patch.

Random "pop" to get us hyped for incoming changes, he's been around since the easter event.

Lol, This has been going on since Late April it was a Ninja Patch that wasnt in the notes at all lol =), and I for one am enjoying this Event :D and also NPC's around Eorzea (or at least in Thanalan) are sayin gthings abut Impending doom as well, as well as talking about Grand Companies. Also Theres Excessive amounts of Rain in Ul'dah, and The Music goes eerie Quiet and it still spooks me out lol

I thought this ended the 9th? lol

a lot of people though it was connected with Egg event, me included, but i guess not.

has any one seen him in any other spots besides uldah area iv been in grid for awhile and haven't seen anything happen yet

Yo Kiba! I think they programmed him to pop at Horizon because it is usually one of the most popular camps on each server.

@ OP: unrelated to your post, I do like how you have your UI setup (similar to mine) Can I ask where your target and party info are, in relation to the rest of the interface? I can never find a place to put them lol

Well, actually, I though something was supposed to happen on 7/6 (in game time) to do with this event. Didn't the GM/NPC say something about that day? Wouldn't that make it tomorrowish? it's 6/23 in game now.

I've never saw Roysia with Uraieofnuiabnus, or however is written, talking together. Only Uraieus.

Roysia pops first before Urianger And she says beware of Doomsayer things like, then Mister Urianger pop does his buffing job say his lines in a different language people cant understand and have to use Google Translate to figure it out, then he goes away and when He goes away Roysia depops
