Square Enix Please Read(In Regards To PS3 Users)

Dear SE, I really hope you read this in regards to all the PS3 players out there.

1. I know it is possible to use a Mouse and a Keyboard to play the game on the PS3 and a really good suggestion would to allow the user base that uses a mouse and keyboard be giving the option to have the same UI Layout as what a PC user has. It would benefit PS3 users with a Keyboard and Mouse greatly and allow for quicker ability reactions in doing so. Many PS3 Player database would greatly appreciate this.

2. Another suggestion for PS3 players would be given the option in configuration menu to cancel all Graphics, besides party members, of all PC members not in party, but at the same time allow the names to still show so that a mage will still be capable of targeting that PC user. A good reason for this is that 1. It would allow you to target your party members with no FPS slow down and make for better job performance. This is a main concern mainly for FATE battles, when there is a lot of playerbase doing them. It would ease up a lot of lag and also allow PS3 users to be able to see FATE monsters become visible. This is a big issue right now for PS3 users and I know you gentlemen are capable of fixing this to make it a better experience for all PS3 users. This is a HUGE problem for Odin and Behemoth FATES.

3. One last suggestion that would greatly benefit game play for PS3 users is the ability to target players regardless if they are loaded up on the screen or not. You could allow it to where as long as the names are showing, that particular player will be able to be targeted. It would help a TON doing this and allowing mages to keep players alive and such.

I REALLY do HOPE that SE reads this and take what I said to heart, because it will definitely make things much easier for us PS3 users.

Doing these things would increase game performance by a ton, especially during fates. Also for the BIG FATES of Behemoth and Odin. PLEASE work this out and do this. I know it wouldn't take much script to do something like this. It will be greatly appreciated! Thank You. I really hope you guys find the time to read this and possibly make a separate thread for these suggestions, because it would not allow me to make one. Please take these suggestions to heart. I promise that the PS3 user base will be very happy if SE can pull this off, in which I can see it possible.

Doing all these things will more than certainly help performance for players on PS3. :)

PS: Please respond SE and let me know something please. This will make many PS3 users very happy, so I am really hoping you can do it, but regardless, please reply to my thread to let me know what you all think and if it will be possible. It would be very very helpful for the PS3 database.

Very good thread, I've been having similar problems and that's one of the reasons why I wont do FATE farming when playing... I've never even saw Behemoth or Odin cause they wont load up! lol...

To be honest the PS3 version is great, but it needs a lot more work specially on the LOD part. I don't care if I can actually notice the LOD, I just want to be able to see a boss monster on a FATE and my party members as suggested. I think the ability to disable others Pets and Summons would also be beneficial to PS3 players.

If this is against the rules please tell me and if it is I am sorry and won't do it again, but... /bump. I want this suggestion to be heard badly.

Graphics loading is a huge issue for fates period. You arrive and the fate at the beginning yet you can't earn a gold star for participation because mobs die before they load on your screen. a good fix would be to have mobs load before players and other players be displayed as default shadow figure until the ps3 can process the graphics.

I completely agree with the graphics part. COMPLETELY. YES. It is so hard to not be able to target people when s/he is seriously invisible to you. And if s/he's in your party list but you can't target his/her name because they're invisible. So in a sense you kill your team mate with out meaning to. You get the blame for it.

Casting. You'll get stuck with just having your character freeze until you sprint.

You get attacked by things that are invisible and you can't fight back because they're not there. It's redonkulous that it (monsters) doesn't want to load.

When loading or skipping cutscenes it takes twice as long than I guess PC.

I tried to contact with support about this but all I got was:

Re-install game
Firewall

Seriously its none of the above.

I play this game with my bf. He uses PC, I use the Ps3. I can see the huge quality difference and it really upsets me that I'm slowing pretty much everyone down or that I'm killing everyone.

This is bar far the biggest problem on the ps3. I know they are focusing on the ps4 game but not everyone is going to buy a ps4 to get this fixed. SE needs to fix this and I hope they do. I can't hardly do any fates anymore because to mobs load as they die. It sucks to lvl through dungeons only or XP grind off levequest. Give me fates back!

Still waiting for responses from Square Enix. This is getting irritating.

During Dungeon runs:

Some party members become invisible and is not able to be targeted often too. Another issue is that some party members ARE visible, but the PS3 does not register them moving and look like they are in the same spot the whole time. If you are a WHM, it makes you look like a complete noob not doing their job well. Constantly when playing, everything goes to a halt, then comes back with everything speeding up to catch up to where you are supposed to be. In that time frame people can die. VERY VERY incapable of doing Titan HM. Especially monsters such as Demon Wall. I move soon as red circles,etc. show up and still take damage 3 seconds later when I am out of AoE spots.

Also,the others replying about the FATES is also happening to me too. It becomes impossible to target monsters, because by time they show up, they are dead already. Can't do Behemoth or Odin at all.

This is the reason I made all these suggestions at the start of this thread.

1. Fix it to where you can target your party members in your list regardless if they are not loaded up.
2. Fix the issue of loading purposes in FATE by SIMPLY adding an option in configuration settings to where you can turn off other PCs graphics besides your party members and another option to if you want the names of other PCs to still show so you can still target them to either heal or raise them. I don't see that being difficult to do.

Also, another thing. At the start of release, these issues were not bad at all, but now it just keeps getting worse and worse to the point I just want to quit.

I hate looking like a complete moron playing my job(WHM), because so much crap like this is happening.
Some people just can't afford to buy an expensive computer right now to play this game, so some, maybe most of us, are playing on PS3, because of financial issues most likely.

SE FIX THIS ASAP OR NOW BETTER YET BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE AND HAVE PEOPLE END UP GIVING UP ON THIS GAME JUST BECAUSE OF THESE PROBLEMS

/bump This is a real concern, these mobs should be preloaded prior to any extra characters outside of your party being loaded.

I have giving up lvl ing a new class all together. This issue needs to be addressed and other methods of leveling need to be added. I'm tired of trying to fate grind only to have the mob pops as it dies getting no exp. I do prefer to dungeon grind but Q times are way too long. Please SE this is not fair fix this issue.

SE please help PS3 users. Npcs and players take an enormous amount of time to generate onto my screen. Players and Npcs often flicker from visible to invisible. People will tell me to attack monsters that I don't see yet. I can't heal party members because their invisible. The game was released for ps3, however ffxiv ARR should have only been released for ps4. Please fix this, you will potentially sell more copies because of a better quality of gaming. Thanks SE.

Bump. I can't even see Svara 3/4 of the times I try to do the 3-part series in Coerthas. Note: That's with players' names turned off, too.

I don't want to bitch, SE, but seriously, this is just silly.

I also had hours of frustration on this.
It is really not possible to fate properly since most of the time really NOTHING of the fate is visible. No mobs, no players I'm only standing there completely alone.
This is really frustrating since fating is the only good possibility to level up.
I'm now at lvl46 and need to get lvl49 to continue the story quest and now I realy lose the ambition to play on since I don't know how to get three levels up without fating.

And i have a few suggestions from me.

1.Add Click2Move option
2.Add 1vs1 arena PvP mode.
3.Add option to show our opponent nickname in PvP mode.
4.And for god sake...remove Free Company tag...this reminds me of guild wars 2...why don't you did it in the traditional way...for example, like in ragnarok online? I mean something like that http://s6.ifotos.pl/img/arespng_nahheww.png
