[FC][HC-MC][LFM] Primal's Bane

If you're reading this you most likely have been looking for a home on Zalera.
Primal's Bane was started soon after the server's launch and our leader, Ati Yukia, also run's the 50s LS on Zalera.

Right now we are rather small at ~25 members but are looking to expand and increase the availability of people looking to progress and have good relationships and pre-made groups for content. Also will help you get in on the ground floor to grab spots for content.

Our members all fall somewhere between HC and SC but generally we are grouping up for AK every night and have no issues helping newer members learn mechanics of Primal fights and new dungeons.

Our age range is from 20-30 but we welcome pretty much anyone who isn't a jerk and is looking for other people to play with.

We have a ventrilo server as well.

Currently our members are banging our heads against Titan as seems to be the norm for most smaller FCs on newer servers so anyone wanting to grab a piece of that can sign up.

It's basically a dodge fight so really... anyone who can move out of a circle or anticipate Titan's moves would be welcome. Also understanding that the fight starts at Phase 5.

I'm transferring to Zalera today, and I have a few questions for you:

1) How many do you have so far?
2) Is there an activity/raid requirement?
3) What's the social environment of the FC like?

Basically, to put it simply, I've played hardcore on MMOs for over 14 years now, and I'm ready to take more of a back seat. I am focusing on crafting, but I'd like to get into doing endgame activities at a relatively slow pace when I transfer over here to Zalera. I'm hoping to join a group that has some semi-hardcore folks who do the content but also has room for the less focused to eventually play in that content.

Just to be clear, what I mean by less focused is gaining maybe 150-250 myth per week and doing 3-8 hours at most doing "raids" (by this I mean 8 man fights - Hydra, Chimaera, HM Primals, BC, etc.)

Hey man.

Right now we have around 25 members. There is a group of us that are almost on every night and we often queue together but many times we just queue on our own while we work on gathering/crafting. Right now the goal is to down Titan - we have four people there right now. We also have about four others who just hit 50 and have been running Ifrit for weapon which two have gotten (which we jumped in with of course - it's a fun and easy fight) and of course joining in now on the AK runs.

We have voice and everyone is pretty awesome with each other - the fact that we are small has helped us to build up some friendships.

We have no "scheduled" raid times or DKP where you have to be logged on but we are always normally running something just for fun and we aren't insane about capping out (Though many of us do throughout the course of the week). Progress at the speed you like but if you want help or someone to tag along who knows the content (and either you do too or are willing to learn) then it's a great place.

I'm generally on after 9-10pm CST during the weekdays once my girlfriend goes to bed and on and off throughout the weekends. Or hit up the others I mentioned in the previous post.

I know it's those small victories but we finally downed Titan last night so with several 50s now and three of us about to have our Relics and then Relics+1 we should be able to consistently help anyone with content as it arises so we can begin running Coil and of course Crystal Tower when it's out.

Absolutely man.

We have one tank we are working up who hit 50 soon and our GL is a Paladin but his laptop fried and has been in the shop for over a week.

I'm the only MNK in the group right now but we are always looking for more. You'd definitely have a spot though in groups.

Not much there at the moment.

Primal's Bane downed T1 of Coil tuesday night after a few hiccups *cough* first pull *cough* :). We're now currently looking for ranged DPS, Bards at the top of most wanted, to start up a Group 2 and let the ball get rolling on that. To reiterate what Primal's Bane is about, I'd classify us as right in between Casual and Hardcore. We set a general time for members to be on for planned runs, but we won't boot you from the FC for being unable to show up. It is what it is :) We won't yell at you for mistakes, we'll walk you through it, and discuss what happened and what we can do to fix it.
For gear requirement to join, all i ask is that you have almost full DL, and working on Relic quest. We can power you through the Primals if DF is unfavorable. Coil requirements will be full DL and Relic weapon. We're always running philo tome runs for crafters, or to just kill time, so we can help finish off your DL gear.

Lvl 50 WHM interested in joining. Bad thing about me, I fate grinded from 30-50 so..I have to do the main quest before I hit end game >.>

I'm lv 50 PLD, but i dont have much DL nor relic, but the quest has been started. I've been in Europe on vacation for past month lol. But before my trip i played on a regular basis. I'll be back nov 8th and get back in the grind. I'm very mature, and laid back 29 yr old.

I'm fine with farming tomes on runs, and using duty finder for primals, etc. And as the FC grows i can perhaps jump in on a coil runs with new groups.

Im very helpful, and patient. I often times help lower lv players in runs, quests, etc.

I played FF11 for 6 years and was tank there, so i have a good idea of tanking and the mind set.

I'm right between hardcore and casual. I DO NOT belittle new players or people who make mistakes. Everyone has to start some where.

If your looking for a respectful, reasonable player then id be glad to join.

I'm looking for a new FC to join. Lvl 50 WAR (I know, ppl tend to frown upon us, but oh well, I rock it). Couple pieces of DL, few pieces of AK and WP equips, Rest artifact. Working on relic quest, up to Garuda. Spend my time right now running WP, and farming Ifrit trying to get weapon (0-6 so far) before I go on to garuda, and an occasional AK run. Looking for an active group of folks that are willing to help out and do runs, possibly even teaching me the techniques of speed runs (yeah I've watched YouTube, but it's not the same, I learn by doing things myself). Plus I'm always willing to jump in to help out lower lvl players on dungeons they're trying to do as well, cuz I hate just standing around not doing anything lol.

Hi, I am a new 50 paladin, is it possible for me to join as well? I have no friends to guide me

This sounds like it might be a good fit for me! I am new to FFXIV but have a strong history of progression raiding in WOW, I main tanked for one of the best guilds on my server. As a ex-hardcore MMOer something a little bit more relaxed will probably suit me. Currently leveling MRD, but I am open to suggestions on what you might need.
