Idea to get players out into the world again

Here's a simple proposal to get players out into the world again, as opposed to just sitting in camps and playing a lobby style game where we wait for Duty Finder to teleport us to dungeons.

For groups that form on a server and actually move out to an instance location to queue, reward them with the following.

1. Bypass "reserving instance" problem and immediately place them into their queue'd instance.
2. Implement a completion bonus.

Example: A group that wants to do Ifrit can teleport to Southern Thanalan and adventure to the crystal that takes you into the Bowl of Embers. Clicking on the Crystal with the group in zone instantly places you into a fight with Ifrit, no "reserving instance" issue. Upon completion of the duty you are rewarded with bonus rewards. Typically Ifrit gives 10 philosophy tomes and 4 mythology. Lets reward players with 15 philosophy and 6 mythology tomes instead.

the good old 1.0 system, but really it is not a good idea, by bypass the queue it does not fix the limit so in the end it is the same. And a hot fix for that had already adress by SE

I like the idea of a small additional reward. I really dislike how little incentive there is to be anywhere outside of town if you are 50, like you said it really is just turning into a hub based game. Generally I would just like to see more content out in the world, but this would be a small first step at least.

Daily quest are coming in 2.1. So it should solve that I hope.

This totally. If you don't have anything else to do at 50 aside from standing around waiting for DF, you're doing it wrong. Unless of course that's what you want, in which case why complain about it? As a result, this thread will now implode.

Not really. I am asking for things to do at level 50, not level other things to 50. Realize that not everyone likes to get every job to 50 or that some have already gotten all jobs to 50. What SE needs to do is make sure everyone can enjoy the world even when we are max level, not just those who are altoholics.

What's stopping you from enjoying the world now? Choosing to sit around while the DF is queueing is your hangup, not SE's.

They will be adding Duty Finder Servers (almost exclusively for AK).

I'm finding with the new gil system for teleporting, I am no longer running out into the world as I would have if I had ran out of Anima. Hate to say it, but it would be more enjoyable to bring back anima so I used my teleports wisely and decide to travel more.

Also, even though there is a duty finder, it would be nice to have to travel to the dungeon/location to go into the duty. I remember in 1.0 having to bring the whole party to the location before going in - and that would be fun again to see in 1.0. Even if you could use the duty finder anywhere and not be there while it searches, when a party was found you should still have to wait for people to get to the location - thus giving people time to chat and know each other while everyone is gathering.

More loot in dungeons ALL dungeons and PRIMAL fights

Instant Que up for ALL class' not just tanks and Healers

Change being implemented which really helps...More Myth drops in other places

Kick feature for ^%%^%%^% tho kinda hard since people can still troll ....a nice fix would be to not
punish us for leaving a group because of trolling

This isn't a good idea. This would only benefit players that preform parties which would neglect players queuing normally.

This would defeat the purpose of the duty finder and would result in no one using it after some time. Funny thing is it would enforce the whole lobby system your trying to get rid of since players will be shouting for parties more.

What is so difficult to understand with the fact that a lot of people do not enjoy the world when there is nothing to do in it? When there is no incentive to go out and be there? Just being out in the world gives me nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever at level 50 unless I just want to look at the stars. I am asking for SE to give people more reasons to go outside and explore. I can't be sure but it sounds like the "Treasure hunting" thing coming with 2.1 might be something a long those lines and I hope they add more of those. That way those of us who like the world, but don't just want to be there for no real reason, can also enjoy it just like you and everyone else who thinks it is enough with just being there even if you have nothing to do or think everyone should farm (even though we have better or more fun ways of earning gil) by gathering.

Not even sure what people are defending tbh, it would not hurt anyone if SE added other things for level 50s to do in the open world.

Most people have not completed all 3 GC Hunt Logs...

Not exactly true as people shout in the main towns for the Dhorme Chimera and Hydra battles and those aren't DF qualifiable.

They could do hidden dungeons, meaning dungeons you can only gain access to by finding them in the open world with no icon or NPC to lead you directly to it. Maybe just some subtle clues hidden throughout the zone that you have to figure out to find it. And once you visit for the first time you can do it in duty finder from then on.
