I would love to see some new vegetation pop up in Thanalan due to all the rain the areas getting. Would be awesome for immersion and help with all the complaints people are having with copy/paste.

Good idea!!
WTB more bushes to harvest for food all over the game!
That would be pretty cool actually.
Especially if it was a seasons thing as well. Different flowers show during winter vs summer etc.
This vegetation idea and the seasons one would be really awesome to see in game... but dunno if possible to realize (much time to create several variants in the terrain and trees).
I'd love to see it in the future though (btw with all these ideas so far, this game could really have the best 3D world ever lol).
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason theres been so much rain is so they can explain why more vegetation sprouts up in the area.
That would be pretty cool.
Really like this idea! :o
Yeah as long as it's not copy/pasted all over the place. Tall flower fields would be nice.
have we really gotten to the point people are suggesting to put more flowers on the wasteland? a wasteland which actually mentions in its plotline how rare flowers are and how they have to buy them from abroad?
We are about to enter the 7th umbral era, anything could happen. Also it would make sense since the area didnt really get a lot of rain until recently but if it continues to rain like it is now, then it would make sense for new plant life to grow, things change irl all the time, just too slowly to really be noticed, but we are moving at a increased pace of time relative to earth.
A plot can easily be changed/fixed. With the influx of new adventurers, the local economy has boomed. The governing body decided to import a ton more flowers.
Well, maybe a little more thought would go into it. haha.
Btw it doesnt have to be flowers, just more plant life related to dry desert plains. There is also some marsh located in the lower areas of the region, but it doesnt seem to be that fleshed out yet.
