Does anybody else find it weird that PGL/MNK and LNC/DRG have a linear aoe attack and ARC/BRD doesn't? I mean come on, they shoot arrows! They should be all about line of sight and whatnot! What exactly is a DRG or MNK shooting?! Ok, I'll cut MNK some slack, but DRG??
I figure a linear aoe for BRD would be called like "Piercing/Penetrating Shot" or something more badass that I can't think of. Get rid of 1 of the 2 circular aoe's for BRD and put the linear one in!
Thoughts?

well I've been in every dungeon and done almost everything in game except for the odin fight and I've never used my LB because well I just didn't have too...I hope they change that to a DPS LB like more powerful Rain of arrows or something would be nice

Yeah I personally agree that the Archer/Bard limit break is disappointing :/ First time I ever used it in a dungeon I was expecting some kind of rain of arrows, maybe a little generic but always awesome coming from an archer. When I saw that it was an ultimate heal, I thought to myself what is the white mage Lb? lol I mean come on, why is it a healing Lb when there is nothing about this class that represents healing :p

Its a heal LB because in beta we were archer/conjurer. When they changed us to archer/pugilist they forgot to adjust the LB.

Giving us a Single Target LB would also require them to completely redo the graphics for ranged attacks. Doubt they will do that. Perhaps when corsair or another ranged physical dps is out.
Giving us an AoE LB would also require us to somehow gain magical abilities. Or, again, a complete graphical redesign. So they won't do that either.
Be thankful at least they didn't give us the tanking one, because the healing one can be used while healers are busy healing, to augment that or to mass res. -

I don't think they'll ever change BRD LB, however, ARC will have a 2nd job, probably Ranger since it's a FF recurent job, which will be focused on DPS and will probably have a DPS lb.
