Anyone heard about offering more Fantasias?

Just wondering if anyone has heard or knows anything about getting more Fantasias? I want to try a race switch for change things up but I don't want to do it if I will never get a chance to change again :)

Spamming bumping will not get you an answer, in fact people are actually less likely to help now. In the future, bear in mind that if people don't reply, it is probably because no one knows the answer to the question you ask.

My prediction is yes we will eventually see something like this in the future, but as a rarity. No mention as to when this might be though.

I'm surprised this isn't on the mogstation.

Since I know mods check a lot of these threads, could we get some clarification if more fantasias will be available later on? i know you cant say anything about putting them on the Mog station but just knowing if more will be available in the near future will help a lot for people deciding on current race changes with the first wave of fantasias.

Probably not, since they said "we will give out fantasia as an ability to re-create your character from 1.0 to 2.0, and then after 30 days in case you made a mistake."

If I were SE, I'd put it on every vendor for 10,000,000 gil.

Weird. I don't remember them saying that. They just let them re make their characters soon as they logged in for the first time. Fantasia just seems to be for those people who like to race hop.

I don't know, but I hope they will. I messed up my character's skin color and it's bugging me quite a bit. I was going for slightly tanned ffs...

I could see 3 ways of it being released again:
1) GC Lt Second Class, 25,000 Seals+
2) 180-day (Tier 4) Veteran's Reward
3) Mog Station (up to 500 Crysta)

Well we can hope that when / if they add new races, they'll offer something to change.

There will be an NPC that let you change your appearance in the future but I'm not sure what you can or cannot change.

Like some said, it was probably a one time thing that was given to 1.0 players so that they also had the choice of the new races and the extra settings. On top of that, realizing that probably there would be complaints from many others who did not qualify for the first fantasia, development also put another vial on the first month of subscription. This way everyone had at least one chance at a character remodel.

I believe they said hair style, hair color, eye color and tattoos or face paint.

But I don't remember where I read it.

It doesn't make sense to create a function that will only ever be used twice. It's practically zero-effort money for Squeenix if they put it up on the Mogstation; there's no reason for them not to.

I am guessing there will be a way to get more of these especially if new races come out in the first expansion.

What do they gain by not having name/race change for sale on Mog Station?

i WOULD SALE YOU both of mine but thats not possible

I can confirm a way to get a third phial. Call in a gm ticket and use your one time item recovery.

The 1.0 one came about because some 1.0 characters got mislabeled (and didn't get their auto recreate).
