We are constantly being given tiny bits of information about the next patch. Can we please have one official forum post from a dev that is edited regularly to reflect the current upcoming changes? All other LARGE SCALE MMO games have these in their forums and I'm one of many who are tired of listening to rumors and blatantly false assumptions that players are pushing as absolute truth. Please consider this for Lodestone or the forums.

Most MMO's put up the patch notes WITH the patch. If you put notes up beforehand, savvy traders can manipulate markets (By working out imminent changes in demand and supply and thus buying up future hot stock in advance)

Market prices respond to supply and demand and inevitably rise and fall. (I.E When the stocks are over-saturated, prices drop competitively).
So whats the problem? Prices always drop regardless.

I have played plenty of mmo's and have been an avid market player. The whole thing about people using patch notes to manipulate the future market is sketchy at best because often the notes change pre installation of said patches. I don't find any validity in your statement but I do notice a hint of scaremongering to be completely honest. Plenty players on my server are for the implementation of a patch note post that changes based on important decisions made by developers. I personally don't see any major economical threat by showing these notes atleast 1 month in advance.
