Well when they are using relic+1 weapons and relic +1 shield which themselves out gear the content they can take off the armour (body pants and maybe head are not worn) and still end up being somewhere around the right level to take him on lol

They have relics (more than 1 is +1) and know how to play their jobs and its done in under 9mins because their damage is still good.

Might still be provided that the ilvl of the other pieces of remaining gear help them meet the minimum requirement for the dungeon. Not to mention that you can swap gear once you are inside the dungeon.

And that could very well change once the gear check system is in place. They could have it where you can't change gear once you start the instance.

I don't think you are allowed to alter the background music in this game when releasing a gameplay video, you might get a copyright strike. Though that rule might only apply if you use your youtube account for monetization.

Bravo, I think that is a fun way to challenge yourselves. As for the titan being a gear check, it is but not as much as it is a skill check. While having relic +1 weapons and Ilvl 70/90 accessories is why this was achievable they still had people under 3k health which shows that skill will always trump gear. Now before they add gear requirements lets see someone go full hamlet on him and get a kill with all lvl 1 weapons...except they can't be broken because then you can't use abilities, but still would be cool to see if it can be done.

Oh well... I'll leave it up as long as SE allows; It is a shame they have so many silly rules and policies like this, when ultimately this is all good publicity for their game.

Tip: Just because an exceptional group of players were able to do this, doesn't mean you can do it too.

The fight really isn't that hard. It's doable in AF and ifrit/garuda weapons.

What makes the fight hard for most is the server position lag.

Good video though, do the same for Extreme modes in the christmas gear when the time comes!

Except for 99% of players, it's really not. Not even close in fact. You'll never get anywhere near the HP requirement to survive the stomps with that kind of gear. If you did it in AF and primal weapons, it's because the rest of the group was properly geared and knew how to 7 man it.

Wearing bikinis, they still have significantly higher stats than somebody with only AF and primal weapons. Losing out on stats from only body/pants isn't much when you have every other slot with ilvl 70-90 gear.

Its doable, doesn't mean its easy. There is video footage of people in AF doing it with garuda weapons, granted not FULL AF, but there you go.

A properly timed Succor makes a world of difference with the Stomp & Tumult.

Gloves, footgear, accessories, and headgear can be invisible. There was plenty of gear in that battle.

And again, just because the top 1% of a game does something, doesn't mean it's the norm to do so. I'd be willing to bet it was a very skilled FC too, and not just a random pug thrown together for it.

There's a very good reason people have high gear standards, aside from the fact gear is very easy to get to begin with.

they're not invisible
if you're replacing your body and lower body armor with bikinis which have no stats, you're losing A LOT of stats and defense
just look at their HP, they only have 3k ish HP, even 2k

Your point? In the opening party shot, they have no visible head gear, which is meaningless because it can be invisible. So you take away two items which leaves 9 items in use including the weapon. Full darklight + relic is over geared for Titan. People just ask for that to do speed runs. There is plenty of gear in use in that party. So what exactly are you disputing?

OP, please don't mislead the uninformed that it's possible for them to do Titan in only their bikinis. You all had relics or relic +1s and still had on all other gear accept your chest and legs.

While it's certainly fun to do stuff like that, when you purposefully mislead people, you make people think that they can do the fight in their AF gear and a level 44 weapon. When most of your gear is ilvl 70 or 90 and you only replace two pieces with bikini, it doesn't make a huge difference. Your stats were still significantly higher than a fresh 50 trying Titan.

For those that want to know, you should have at least all AK gear and a couple pieces of DL before attempting Titan. And your weapon should at least be Ifrit or GC 50.

Anyone know if we'll be able to wear bikinis on vanity slot?

even if you have relic, i think your attack stats won't be as high as if you have full DL with GC/ifrit weapon
having a relic won't give you instant 100+ damage boost, the stats from your overall gear matters

thing is lack of gear must be compensated with skills and know-how. Does not surprise me Solitude FC can do this, cause they are top FC on Ragnarok (probably also best LS on Sargatans in 1.0) and very dedicated players.

This does not mean everyone can do it with gimped gear.

Better gear means faster kill meaning less time to do mistakes. That is why it is recommended to have high level gear for it; at least imho.

Might be possible, in other MMOs, ilvl requirement is only applied if you don't queue for the dungeon with a full party.

You will need very good healers to keep people alive without a HP buffer.

put this together with a 3 man ak run and we start to form the truth about gear requirements

Only stat currently that really matters are vitality and weapon stats. I have not seen calculations of how much armor or magic resistance on gear values in making a 1 shot ability into 2 or 3 shot ability. The weapon damage contributes almost third of the ability power. So this wearing bikini Titan feat only values as being fun and i applaud for that only.
