I find that the mounts in this game look silly when the mount is scaled up for the big races and scaled down for lala. The unicorn, chocobo, and coeurl are the culprits. The magitek does not seem to scale one way or the other. Making the mounts scale seems to take the little or big aspect of our races out of the picture....until your mounted next to a different race...then it looks even sillier.
Agreed. Are the lil lala chocobos just a bantam breed? Like really, we need some in-game lore to go along with this or Imma be upset :T

Roes would break the backs of normal sized mounts.
I also think that Lala ponies are adorable. ^_^
I want to see a Roegadyn on a Lala unicorn. Cause that just makes sense....
I don't think it would be good to see a Lalla sized Chocobo vanish into a Roe's bum because it was so small proportionally. That would give me nightmares.. :D
It looks like lala ride around on a unicorn version of lil sebastian.
However, I am a fan of the different riding styles of the various races. The way lala look when they ride around on floating eyes is absolutely amazing.
I hate it almost as much as I hate seeing trash mobs the size of skyscrapers.
I just wish the riding styles were optional. I want lady-like side saddle, but sadly I have to create an entirely different race to get that.
I remember FFXI had different breeds that could vary in size and color. Perhaps when breeding comes out sometime after housing we'll get something similar to that?
