Relic + 1.
FYI, Truth/Fact: WP DMG (best)> INT > ACC (until turn 5 cap, BLM is 437 give or take ) > Crit (18%-20%+ is pure joy)> VIT > DET > SS (pure garbage).
BLM ACC cap for Coil is 337? REALLY???? I thought i was to aim for 437 or something like that ? O.o'''
-_____- SIGH, got me all excited here for a moment

According to this guy, 432 is enough to never miss in Coil.
I had a bad day and i simply trolled you. No hard feelings :)
BRD is a great mobile class, i miss that alot on my BLM.
The truth is, i'm too addicted to the shiney spells and the high crits -_-
^.^ You meanie you
The drawback with Vanya set is that you get ACC on chest and chest alone. So i gotta get my Acc elsewhere... There's the DL earring and the DL Ring, but side from that i'm in pickle
It is shame that im forced to meld ACC into Vanya instead of getting more Crit. Sigh..
There is a limit to how much crit you can have in one piece, also not all pieces allows crit. Start with crit until you reach 0 then put acc on until you hit 432+.

Gloves:

Don't have more Vanya as they are both place holders until l luck out on a chest/glove drop from Coil.
Edit: If memory serve me right, the head won't take any crits but will take lots of Acc.
How can you tell what's the cap on each piece?
When you try to meld it, it will show you how much stat gain you will get from matria b4 you meld it in. I honestly don't know another method but to compare the crafted pieces to DL as they will share the same limitations to some extent.
Edit: can't post anymore, reached my daily limit. Anyway, look for someone in full Vanya set SMN or BLM and take screen shots. Location? Wineport, 8:00PM EST there should be an army of them just outside the gate :).
The thing is, this method actually requires you to have the actual materia which means you gotta spend gils in order to buy it. An expensive way to test out stuff i'd say.
At the moment im stuck with x4 +7 INT materias that cost me 89k each
I'm not sure about this but i think the stat cap for secondary stats is the highest stat that is already on the item. For example, vanya chest's (HQ) highest secondary stat is 27 accuracy, which means if you wanna socket crit, you can't go above 27. Can anyone confirm this?
Does anyone know if there is a soft or hard cap for crit? Since Vanya gear has most of the main stats (INT/ACC/VIT) already the most useful thing you can meld is crit on a lot of the pieces. If I am going to use using 6-10 G3 materia for that 4th meld I want to make sure I am not hitting some overall cap.
On a related note, my Vanya gear isn't HQ, it wasn't so easy to HQ in 1.0. Since I've more than enough ACC, how many points crit is equivalent to adding +1 INT, i.e. should I add a G1 INT materia as the fifth meld instead of trying to add another G3 crit for +6 crit, forgetting about the cost of the materia since I have oodles of cracked materia left?
NQ is less than DL while HQ is better than DL. We favour HQ because it max out INT for ilvl70 like the DL without having to waste a slot on INT. Yes INT is much more valuable than Crit Chance. I have not done the math but if memory serve me right it is about 2-3 times better.
I would disagree my friend. You would need a lot of piety to reach the next sweet spot for mana pool which is a wasted slot that might screw up your rotation. By sweet spot, I mean fire 1 spam until you no longer can cast it but enough to cast Thunder 2 and/or Bliz3. If you are spaming fire 1 until you have less than 79 mana (which is what the extra piety would do to you) then you will be in unfavourable position.
