Does anyone know how to improve your chances of getting a drop during the faction T3s? I've done 2 so far (800 credits wasted :() and haven't gotten anything but crystals. It's majorly depressing getting 3-10 crystals after so much effort in getting all those credits.

If you're talking about the faction NMs I think decapitating them increases your drop rate quite a bit.

Incapacitation does nothing except for Tarbh Uisge... which can get you Buffalo Horns. It does not influence treasure chest drops.

This will be argued, obviously, and honestly it's not at all proven (Really tough to test actually)
But take it from someone who has gotten over 10 runes (Without using the former exploit)
There is a dev post that states that leve linking increases the chance for higher level chests in leves
Higher level (i.e. better looking) chests yield better loot
This seems to also hold true for the big runestone chests
Normally, people who don't have the leve get 2 crystals, but if the chest is the best looking one, everyone who doesn't have the leve gets 5 to 10 crystals and the people who did have the leve all got runes from those fancy chests... -

The only thing is those chest are not the ones that drop after killing the NM on your T3 Faction Leves. Those are just random chest on regular Guild Leves. -

Their talking about the regular chest that appear on a GL. It has nothing to do with the T3 faction leves Boss chest you get after killing the NM. You can get one of those regular chest on a T3 faction leve but again thats not what the O.P. was asking about.

Well, I'm not sure how much it's worth, but every one I have done I've had a drop and I always linked at least with 1 other person. 4/4
Edit:
Also, I never died during the leves either. Which I have a friend who has failed to get anything each one he has done, even with links, but they almost always wipe at least once...not sure if that means anything either. -
