Griefing - How is this acceptable?

With no votekick feature, one must be forced to leave a DF and suffer the penalty due to a member purposely not healing, dpsing or outright griefing. As it currently stands, healers tend to have the most 'power' in this department as one could refuse to heal.

How is this acceptable and are there any plans to add a votekick feature?

1 page back using the Dev Tracker. There's also the JP Translation thread by the Subligar King. Getting into the habit of checking both of those should keep you up to date on most of the official information.

Thanks for the link. It still leaves me uneasy that this is mildly just a 'consideration' whilst griefers run rampart. I deal with at least one or two everyday.

Ya, it's almost impossible to run with pugs since there's a good chance someone will get upset or embarrassed by something they did and instead of owning up to it/getting better they'll instead refuse to continue. In situations like those what do you do? Sit there until someone, if anyone leaves? Be the bigger person and leave yourself and then sit around and wait out the 15 minute timer? Try and continue on? None of these are good options, but a kick feature would be a simple solution.
As far as maliciously using it, I can see the concern but just make it so that you can only kick after the first boss pull or something. That way you don't have premade groups queueing and kicking a healer immediately if he's undergeared or something, but allows groups to switch things up if one person is keeping the team back on a boss fight/midway through dungeon.
Not sure what the exact solution may be but it's certainly not how things are right now. This needs to be fixed and soon.

I have no respect for my healer. I make her solo Fate Bosses, heal tank add's, fight stuff 5 levels above her. Poor and abused Conji girl Ksenia :(

This is working as intended, I sent a ticket about a person refusing to heal in Titan, sitting down and saying they could waste all day, the response I got was that any player is free to fill their selected role however they see fit, and any player is free to engage or not engage any enemy at any time once inside the instance.

Why this is unacceptable? Collecting someone's tears to someone is as much fun as for you running a dungeon. You guys make it sound like griefing is something wrong and bannable.

Moral of the story: MMOs are best played in a with a group of known friends, not random PUGs comprised of anyone from anywhere where the antisocial pricks who no one likes hang out.5

The timer would run out before I left in such a situation. Plenty things I can be doing around the house while waiting for the griefer to leave.

As a healer I wont pug anymore, no exceptions. There is nothing worse then having a bad tank who cant hold hate, or a dps that stands in stuff, wont dps the right target or does other moronic things. And everyone blames the healer. My MP is not a bottomless pool, and I will pull hate and die, Im not a tank! Before you diss healers I suggest you level one up and pug for a week, see if don't understand why we will just quit healing morons. That being said SE cannot add a vote kick fast enough. I shouldn't have to fear pugging, its messing with my immersion, and SE thinks says that's a sin. I'm tired of seeing stories of people AFK'ing whole CM runs, people coming into AK to steal chests and griefing other players or coming in on full craft gear so they can spirit bond... Hurry up SE.

Hah, I just want a blacklist for the DF. Then I'd never have to look at a griefer again.

Yup I've had them. A DPS who que'd in with us for Titan, then just sat there. Doing nothing. We had to leave because we could not kick the idiot.

Besides, make it so that it is a group vote to kick someone. Not just one person.

Not worth running dungeons PuG, at all, period.
