What good thing have you done today in FFXIV? :)

With the numerous posts about elite players and poor gamesmanship I wanted to know what good have you done today in FFXIV?

I'll start. I'm a lvl 47 Weaver and for an hour a day I will go to the Shroud and Thanalan and give a shout

"Free HQ gear for lvls 1-25"

I will make all the gathering gear for the botanists if they ask.

So...what good have you done today?

I healed some random people I ran past, who were about to die. ^^

I tanked Hydra twice for a group of random people as well as Chimera since parties can be hard to find.

I also helped others with their CM runs, since Tank= Insta-Que.

Nothing, didn't even log in yet.
Yesterday, I finally got the skill "Holy" for my WHM and I thought it was pretty fun and cool to use.
FATE's should no longer be a problem and I like the animation and floating.
And semi fly since I can move while casting lol. Yep, that's something good for me.
Otherwise, I generally heal people because I'ma healer and that's what I do...yep.

Nothing... I'm still at work, then I have a bowling league.... I wont be on for probably another 5 hours at the earliest :(

I give my members in my Free Company minions I fish out occasionally. I'm constantly giving out tips on certain fish that sell good in AH, being it a time of day, type of bait, certain weather, and where I found it. How's that saying go about teaching a man to fish will feed him for a lifetime? It's true. :)

Didn't happen today but, I was going around on my low lvl gladiator when I joined a fate, noticed that someone pulled a lvl 17 tortoise into the midst by accident and it was killing everyone. I quickly warped into my lvl 50 summoner to take care of this threat and save the new players BUT I forgot there was a huge skill cool down and I stood there like a tool while everyone died...I tried t.t

As a tank, joined a run in progress for AK.

Leveling all crafter classes and selling HQ items for cheap after seeing the ridiculous amount of gouging that happens on the market.

I was playing as a scholar and saw a level 14 lalafell player fighting a level 20 monster just struggling to survive. I quickly healed him to keep him in the fight. after he slayed the beast I used the spell aldoquem (or whatever, words fail me) and gave him a barrier. I kindly bowed to him and went on my way. I love healing random players in need : )

Told a tank to use flash in his rotation..I dont think that is said enough.

Helped a few more times on Story Mode Titan as a healer, they were happy to advance. =P I advanced my story progress, since was way behind.

Not me, but someone else:
Someone were shouting that they were giving away dyes for free, as they had no need for them themselves. I said I was interested in one of the dyes, and asked how much he wanted for it. Still for free. So we met, and he gave me a demon brick minion for free in the same go. I think it was a nice thing to do, since he could have easily sold it on the market for gil, even if he was lvl 50 and the amount probably would be worthless to him at that point. Free as it was, I still gave him some gil for it.

Thought it belonged here. ^^

I did a Lalafell dance for randoms in my raid party... does that count? >_<

I raised a bunch of people after a fate when everyone else just ran off & ignored them. I always check the ground after fates:) And if someone is near me shouting for a raise, I'll help them out. One time I yelled at a guy for fighting in his undies though. 10 minutes later, he was dead again. lol.

If it was for me, then I would count it :(

Helped someone complete a FATE, I didn't join just healed him because there was no a single soul around it and I happened to be mining around the place :P

Also a friend crafted some HQ gear to help me, in return I crafted some ornaments for her, I plan to craft her lvl 50 HQ ornaments in the future, once I get my goldsmith and miner up to 50 :)

Hosted a Garuda Hard training group. No wins, but understanding of the fight was taught.

I was doing some quests west of Ul'Dah by a cliff, when suddenly my text bar goes 'Help me please?' 'Behind you!'

I couldn't see anything until I looked and saw a small corpse in the bushes. 'I fell of the cliff and died x.x revive please?' . I don't know why but it just cracked me up! The amount of times I've thought I could make a jump and died falling!

Jumped off a tower in Coerthas Central Highlands. Was fun.

I finished the main storyline today followed by starting my relic quest, Got as far and won Chimera with a great party of people no big heads just random fun people, Yeah we wiped twice put no rants just lol and we won 3rd time round
reminds me of the days in vana.

Was tryin to get to lvl 30 the other day in Hakkuke Manor. I joined a run already in progress and immediately saw why there was space. The tank and medic had the basics of their jobs down, but they weren't skilled enough to complete it. So I stopped them and gave them some tips on how to educate themselves through watching other people do the job they desired, and learning what works and what doesn't.

Well, I haven't done anything today (yet), as I've spent much of my afternoon at the renaissance faire in the town seven miles away, but last night I did tell another player that you can view a player character's viewer search information to read what notes (if any) they may have put. For example, on Ganth, I put the handle I go by on Twitch.tv. A couple of days before that I stalked a guy I sometimes watch play games at Twitch and healed him (I was in the process of leveling Ganth's Conjurer class to 20).

Had great fun today :)

Waited in a queue for 15 mins only to get wiped 3 times on Garuda hm with a noob party. ;)

Managed to form a party for Garuda hm after 30mins of idle shouts and /tells in hopes that I would finally get my Garuda weapon. Did I get get it? Well after 30 times... nope still don't have it :)

Congratulations on the gimped loot system :) Really fine work to all those SCHL , WHM and MNK who seem to always get it :)

My FC seem really keen on communicating and helping people progress with end game, yet whenever I ask for help...no ones around!! :confused::rolleyes: How bemusing

I went and tanked for ifrit hard mode the other day a few times even though i already have my sword

I shout in a random town on my server every day to give away free minions. I just enjoy doing it. I've made a surprising number of friends by this very simple act.
