Just realized it is a lobby server error so doesn't really what worlds we are in. ^^

Got it as well over on Adamantoise, which I should note isn't one of the realms that's currently undergoing emergency maintenance. So now, the emergency maintenance needs emergency maintenance.

Same for me once I got to character selection screen but it never brought up my characters. Now I just get a grey start button and then 2002 error.

Looks like emergency maint. took down the login servers. 2002 here as well, Ultros.

I wonder if SE really knows what they are doing... I mean they take like 6 servers offline but they also screw with the lobby server at the same time... even though all the other worlds are up and running.

Error 2002, but a friend is on, so only the Login-Servers are down, fix it please.

Yep, lobby 2002 Error here as well. Guess no one will be able to get on for a while.

Same here! Just randomly got a 90,000 and now I cant log ino. 2002 :/ Was almost done with AK to...

I'm experiencing the same issue. Once the game boots up, the Start option is greyed-out and then I get booted-off with the 2002 error. This seems rather odd for me since an emergency maintenance on a handful of servers should not affect the lobby as consequence. It might be a glitch that will go away on its own...I don't know. What I do know is that the game is currently unplayable due to this lobby error.

EDIT: I just got in. It was probably a hiccup in the system.

I get passed the 2002 now only to be hit by 10102 everytime I log in to my server.

Same for Coerul >_< Start button is completely grayed out and then it pops up the error message and crashes .-.

Getting the same here on Excalibur

Seems the lobby is alright now, so its time for 10102 to pop up and leave us hanging lol Can't connect to Balmung, 10102 Error every time now.

Now loading-screen, but kicks me out again and again...

Okay now I finally got in ._. I really hope I don't hit that other error now...

So far everything is now fixed for me...no more errors and have been on for about 5 minutes now lol

Finally got in after lots of 90K's and an attack of 2002 and the old 'Can't find the NA/EU server list' stuff. Hope everyone else gets in soon.

10 hours no login, only 'error 2002'
I followed the http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...rror-Code-2002 to the letter, I even deleted and re-installed and still no luck. Oh well, just means for study time for exams.

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
