Well, they're all upgrades for you. Probably start off with the 2x825s since you already have that much.
Get the body and legs, they're the two biggest pains to save up for, and significant upgrades from AF as well.
I heaard people wont take the legs due to their stats
What? And you're gonna keep your AK legs on instead?
Bro you should be aiming for full darklight, everything except one ring, since there's only one dex DL ring.
Then you can think about entering coil
Toxote Gloves > Darklight Gloves
i am going to be buying the most expense stuff. then getting the cheaper stuff will not take as long
From what I see around. 1WD=6stat 1stat=4other stat.
I'm having a hard time with DL>Toxo in hands/legs also, 35crit vs 6Dex 26Det. (8.75 vs 12.5) If you look like it like this it's a winner but..
DL Hands:2Dex/8Det =4
Toxo Hands: 11Crit/15Skill speed(meh)=6.5[even if we take the skill speed away it would be 2.75]
DL Legs:4Dex/18Det=8.5
Toxo Legs:24crit=6
I think the real question is "how much of a difference is 35crit really going to make?".
We got to think Higher crit=higher chance of BL reset. Where not counting acc cause your prolly capped or over capped.
Maybe Gryphonskin hands/legs as fillers, with crit melds? Can't find a hq pair showing stat caps.

What stats and program are you using to get that readout?
http://valk.dancing-mad.com/?page_id=202
Stats were
433/431 dexterity
250/242 determination
41 weapon power
44.82 auto attack
429/440 critical hit rate
367/382 skill speed
Also, the methodology section shows all testing was done with melee damage, not ranged. While there is a good possibility they function similarly, that combined with the fact that it's a best guess at best, means you should take it with a grain of salt.Quote:
The formula will produce numbers that are consistently 1-2 points off. I am not sure why, but since the error is a consistent systematic error and not a random error, this should not be much of a concern.
Better than pure conjecture.
Also, if you look at this page.
http://valk.dancing-mad.com/?page_id=260
it specifically mentions substituting STR for DEX for range. Both pages are using the same formula.Quote:
For Bard and Archer, plug your DEX value into the STR boxes.
So, I do get the results you posted with the numbers you gave (didn't doubt that, just testing to see if any buffs were checked).
Then I put in my actual numbers:
441 Dex
224 Det
40 weapon power
43.73 AA damage
482 crit rate
385 skill speed
150 WS Potency
The numbers I got returned were:
176 AVG WS DMG
130 AVG AA DMG
The problem is, I can't get my Heavy Shot damage that low. I can't. The lowest I'm seeing is about 205 damage. That's a 30-damage error before factoring in any critical damage. I would normally agree that it's better than conjecture, but not when it's so far off. The auto-attack numbers are within the 1-2 point variation he mentions, but the WS damage is way off.
While my hat's off to Valk and all the theorycrafting work he does, we should all admit that his page is out of date. . .
He is assuming DEX and STR are interchangeable, unless he did not post his findings that they are.
Edit: It's probably a safe assumption, and it is better than nothing, but I wouldn't treat it like he had tested it.
if you got it saved up, af2 is better then DL chest(cept its fking PINK!!, like wtf SE?), same with legs and head and maybe feet, af2 gloves are la suck
I don't remember lol, im at work right now, I cant see it.... maybe it was gloves that were ok and feet bad, I cant remember
did that take into account the dps of BL reset when dots proc?
Okay, manually setting the WS Potency to 180 does give me a better fit. That being said. . .
. . .no, it doesn't. I'm also not sure what's going on with his buffs, either. Including Internal Release adds about a 7% crit rate, so I assume he's prorating that, but then Straight Shot should have 100% uptime (or close), yet he seems to be prorating that at the IR rate. Then, RS, B4B, and HE don't seem to get prorated at all. . .
Basically, while I'd love to use this tool, it seems too inaccurate at the moment to be worthwhile.
