{REQUEST} Toggle Chocobo music

This is a request to SE. Can you pretty please create an option to disable the chocobo theme music when riding.

I would like to listen to the area theme music. Not have a heart attack through my headphones lol.

There is one >.> I'm not at home right now but I believe it's under the sounds setting in system setting. Correct me if I'm wrong as to the location. I do know it does exist though.

Uh, it's already in the game (look in your System menu ;)).

I like the chocobo theme to be honest (I prefer the rental chocobo theme Bo-Down to the personal chocobo theme Eorzea de Chocobo however).

Click on system configuration, and sound settings, and untick the "play music when mounted" option.

Jeez......after all this time and I didnt know this.

Wow, I was in the same boat. I just thought it was not there. Good to know!

The only reason I use my Chocobo instead of the CE mount is because of the music.

The only mount I really like is the Chocobo.
When I get my magitek armor I'll probably use that too.

When I clicked this thread I thought it would be about importing remixes of previous chocobo musics (and terras theme for the magitek) to choose from while riding.

Did you even bother to look if it was already possible to do this?

Yeah, I wish they would let you use the Rental Chocobo Theme.

Turned mine off once I got to Coerthas which has a great BGM track.. plus in general I like listening to the BGM/ambient sounds of the various zones over the choco chorus.

Woah, woah, woah. Mindblown. I like the CE/Magitek armor music but the chocobo music is just too rambunctious to have on all the time, imo.
