"Unable to update the group NA/EU Character List"

So not sure whats going on. I was playing the game and had just boarded the airship to limsa when I got booted offline. When I log back in I keep getting the message "Unable to update the group NA/EU Character List" But seem to be able to populate the servers for group JP...Is this just me? Did all the NA servers go down?

Maybe.. they are.. trying to fix the issue?

Except... that error... is not a server specific error...

I am getting it and reside on Diabolos.

been having connection issues all day

edit: just came back up

just started to get this on Gilgamesh, can't log in.

In 2 1/2 hours, yes.

Seems to have cleared up now.

Unfortunately, I can't load the NA/EU server list still even after I rebooted my computer. I guess I won't be playing tonight...

Just going to have to give it time. We're at Launchstations much like before.

Oh no, it's spreading like a disease!

Scheduled downtime isn't due for another two hours.

All the Balmung players that couldn't get in are probably spamming to get back into their server if possible and probably crashed the NA/EU char list since there's so many of us. lol

Yeah the issues are with your routing, you need to run tracert to the servers and call your ISP about it. </irony>

At least reading some threads around here, that seems to be the go too excuse ^^

Servers are creaking and straining under their own weight.

Can't load NA/EU server list but JP list shows up fine. Sounds like my ISP is working fine. Problem is at their end if so many people have the same problem.

Very much so. I don't think anyone suggested that this is an end-user problem.

happening to me too. no access to NA EU servers :(

Issue is now fixed for me, but I had to reboot my client just now to get NA/EU to load. So anyone still having the problem try a full reboot of your game now. ^^

Guys, when you see this error message (or 2002), wait about 10 minutes before trying or you will be repeatedly logging in and re-opening the client in frustration.

I have yet to see this problem persist longer than several minutes when I've seen it (I encountered it yesterday, second time since launch) and it doesn't affect players already in the game, so this means they rebooted the login/lobby server or something.

"Cleared up" for me & certainly wasn't due to maintenance planned for 2 1/2 hours later.

Tonight, I kept getting the 90K and 2002 errors. I gave up for the night, hopefully, they will fix the issue

Yeah, normally I would give it time, but I have work, so the amount of time I can give is kinda small on the weekday nights. Oh well. I ended up going to bed early because I didn't feel like continuously rebooting my computer just to see if I could get in once.

Yeah, this didn't work for me. Maybe my computer reboots too fast and is ready in less than 10 minutes. D:

I highly doubt it is my ISP. My husband was already in the game and playing. He got in about an hour ahead of me and was still in the game crafting while I just couldn't load the NA/EU list. I could see the JP list just fine though. :\

Probably just bad luck with the login/lobby server. D:

1 and half month after launch, still have this issue...

Keep in mind that there is server maintenance for NA/EU right now for another 30mins and therefore the JP list will load but NA/EU will not

The maintenance is over and I can still only see the JP list. Any idea what could be causing this?
