Ive ran into this a few times. Someone will leave because they have to, the wife is angry or something. Thats fine and all but the dungeon timer is still counting down.
By the time we get someone new the timer is almost done and we cant complete the dungeon.
Please let the timer pause when a person leaves until we get a new party member then it can resume.
Also this is for duty finder. So since its random people wouldn't be able to abuse the system. (I suppose they couldn't)
As for pre made parties I cant really think of anything for that, I guess leave it the same.
For Duty finder though people leaving is a lot worse so please implement some sort of pause timer.
Or just remove timers all together..cough

This is why even premade, full parties still can wait hours for a instance to be free for them. SE has the timers to ensure that people cannot block that dungeon for hours. Nice ideas, but unless SE adds more DF servers to handle the instances required, the timers will stay to prevent people abusing them.Quote:

*There is a set number of dungeon instances available- such as AK, which you are not high enough to enter yet. Think of these instances as tables in a restaurant. You can't enter if there isn't an instance/table free. Even if your party is already full/premade.
*The queues for AK can be 4+ hours after the weekly reset for Tomes. Even for groups premade and ready to go- they wait hours for an instance of AK to be open.
*People already grief groups by afking in instances, or wiping the groups purposely to encourage people to buy runs from their group/LS/FC. Simply google: sabotaging titan runs.
*If you pause timers, these same groups will simply join and have a member leave. If the DF looks automatically for another, and someone joins, they will have another member leave. By doing this they can block an 8 man instance quite awhile since tanks and healers are hard to come by and they can leave and search one at time. This means longer queue times waiting for an instance (as there is a separate queue for filling up the group)
TLDR- Set # of instance & pausing timers= open to griefing by jerks
