Invisible Garuda HM!

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this - trying to determine if it's a game bug or a possible issue with my PC or internet connection, although this has never happened previously.

Twice last night during a Garuda HM battle with a DF group I've had Garuda fail to reappear after she vanishes to summon her adds. Both adds would appear, but Garuda herself was invisible and couldn't be targeted. Probably not a big deal if I was a healer, but being that I was the main tank it definately presented an extra set of challenges... lol.

Luckily I've repeated the battle so many times that in both instances I was able to continue without too much of an issue (with the exception of not knowing when exactly Slipstream was coming), but I'd still prefer to be able to target and see what I'm tanking...

Also in both instances she did reappear during the next wave of adds, but I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this?

Had same thing tonight for several of our party members (I think 4/8 during different fights, one of them was tank which was fun). Had also an issue where it didn't let us in the instance because we didn't have 4 party members (yes it was hardmode we were trying to get into).... Same server too, though I don't know if it makes a difference. Getting really annoyed with not being able to run late night events (starting to get lag after 8pm UK time).

If that's the case then it's likely a game bug then, although since we're on the same server it may just be server issues. I'll go ahead and report it, thanks for the reply!

I have had this issue before but it cleared up after she teleported back in again. If you run into it again I'd report it in the bug report forum. Make sure to fill out the template completely so that it'll be looked at.

Had this happen with a few things... Went into the Ultima fight and he was invisible, but I could target. After jumping both Ifrit and Garuda have been invisible and impossible to target, but they'd reappear after another jump.

Had the same issue myself, happens on the PS3 as well.

Had this issue during a Garuda run some time ago. Made it near impossible to help the group win as a DD b/c I couldn't target her + it also happened to her sisters so I had to hope we had the dps to down them before they despawned...luckily we did.

I have this problem with everything from my personally summoned Choco to Svara to Titan. Try dodging when an invisible Titan jumps.Good times!

If you look at all these threads, they have one thing in common, some sort of lag. It doesn't appear to be latency anymore as enough people are affected that have suffered the "lag" while testing their connections.

I think there is a major server issue.

People in my FC seem to have this issue on Garuda more than any other endgame content. So it's not just you!

Had this issue tonight, she warps to the east, shoots her beam then warps to the center to summon plumes and never reappears until after Astral flow.
