Paladin Role in Ifrit Hard Mode

So one Warrior main Tank Ifrit and Paladin as a role in here is just to stand there and wait for Ifrit to cast Eruption and stun it? That is all I do in this fight? Use only one ability Shield Stun throughout the entire fight? Since this is what I heard is the best tactic because Shield Stun share a global cool down to all other ability?

As a starter stunner, yeah that's all you do. I use my full skill rotations and still stun every eruption though. The trick is knowing when he's going to use eruption and being ready for it. You can usually get 2 full rotations off inbetween eruptions.

Yup, the entire fight is basically a good stun, though a blm to LB the nails helps a lot aswell. Fun game right?

Once you get better at tanking you can actually main tank AND stun Ifrit. 1 tank, 6 dps, 1 healer. That's a bit further along though. ;)

What kind of weapon should I start doing Ifrit Hard Mode? The Grand Company level 50 one need run Adam Keep unlock max rank to purchased, but this Dungeon required good gear to do? Should I farm Wandering Palace first for the Dark Light weapon first?

Yeah bud, the Ifrit fight is SUPER easy after you've run it a few times. He has a pattern that he repeates, without fail, every time. You'll learn when Eruption is coming and can do your combos in between. Just try to memorize it and you'll have more fun^^

GC weapon will work well enough, even for Garuda- have a primal weapon for Titan though, preferably Garuda's.

For gear you can do both Ifrit and Garuda in your AF, better gear just allowing you more mistakes. For Titan specially as tank you will need to have some dark light and the rest AK - the hp is very important for that fight (full darklight would be best, partial darklight tank may make some parties queasy and will offer you and the healers less room for error.. which you need all you can get, at least the first few times you do it).

I would recommend buying the "Aeolian Schimitar". Its a ilvl55 weapon, and you're going to need it for your relic quest anyway, when the time comes you can request meld on it (or you can even do it before hand) and turn it in to progress your relic quest line.

You can use it until you get something like Ifrit or higher.

If you're just stunning your weapon isn't as important you're not going to be doing huge deeps anyway. Running palace is a good start though; upgrade your armor and get a decent weapon.

The scimitar can actually be picked up inside the Wanderer's Palace. Don't bother buying it, that thing drops all the time. :)

It was all I did. Easiest fight I've ever done.
