Mahi Mahi (standard RATE)

A notice to all fisherman on all server. please do not undercut the rate or reduce the rate of this precious FISH to a rate which is trash-like as you know we do not earn much from fishing nor are this fish easy to catch. on my servers (hades) it will been reduce to the like of 1 thousand each which is not acceptable if you can see previously it was on 8k or 7k then down to 4k now it is even down to 1 thousand which is bear acceptable for most of the fisherman to earn. i kindly beckon you people to be firm on the price and do not reduce the cost.

Value decreases as supply increases.

we don't mind price drop but not at the rate of despo undercut from 12k to 8k. and for nq from 8k to 1k that;s ridiculous

Crafters should be using CP food.

I usually make Pan-fried Mahi-mahi so I have to go through less skills to finish my items. I find it easier for me at any case.

Heh, this issue seems to be happening across all servers. Just speculation, but I think the problem is merely too many people leveling up fisher (as it's more fun and faster than the other two DoLs) and the economy just took a huge hit on all servers (gold farmer/buyer's Gil went "poof" over the last week).

I fully support the removal of these people, but wonder if it would have been better if even a fourth of that Gil was filtered back into the community somehow (removing sales tax for a month, for example).

As it stands, fishing seems to merely be supply based. Those who can do it all day every day are undercutting by hundreds to thousands because it sells faster and they can restock when their retainers get low. I anticipate early level 50 miners and botanists running into the same issue if they haven't already.

Who knows though, MMOs are notorious for having huge declines in subscribers after the free month, so the issue of having too much competition might correct itself.

It's the same thing with all crafting, as an armorsmith I'm better off buying some ingots off the Market Board because they're being sold for half of what they actually cost to make.
