Levemete Vanishing Point Can't Finish

When undertaking the Fieldcraft Levemete "Vanishing Point" I cannot complete it due to there only being 7 mining points while I need 8 to complete.

8 'red circles' showing the area the points are in show up on the map but only 7 mining points are available.

Time: 7:20ish AM (Central)
Frequency: Always
World name: Ragnaock
Character name: Kali Lumina
NPC name: Graceful Song
Monster name: n/a
Class/Level: Miner 10
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: ?
Area and coordinates: 22 x 26
Steps:
1. Went to area indicated by red circle on map
2. Initiated levemete quest
3. Began mining
4. Could not finish because only 7/8 spots were there.
