I have 7 days left and have not seen anything about NA stores having time cards. Do they have them or are they coming soon? If they don't I probably won't be playing this game even though I want to.

No NA timecards, pretty sure EU got em but not us. Apparently for not giving up your CC info. SE wants you to jump through hoops to play.
So there is PayPal, which isn't bad should you happen to have an account, suppose that's an option, just another site that wants your CC info though..
Last is crysta, which first you have to activate by going to account management. Then you can use Ultimate game cards, which they sell at Wal Mart, GameStop, etc.
From what I understand you buy the card, go to account management, enter card code and redeem for crysta, which then pays for your monthly sub..
Yep.. :/

I live in SoCal and have found Ultimate game cards at Kroger/Ralph's stores in their gift card sections. The Ultimate game cards site has a section of retailers who carry the cards, best bet is to call ahead.
Haven't tried yet, but will be getting a $10 card soon and will repost.
ultimate game card is used to buy crysta, it doesn't directly purchase game time. There is supposed to be an official FFXIV game time card, but they aren't avialable in the US yet.
There are official game time cards, but they are currently only available for Europe and Japan SE accounts. I have not seen SE say anything about them becoming available for North American accounts.
Edit: But if Ultimate Game Cards still work for FFXIV, that's a good alternative. They seem to be available EVERYWHERE... Even grocery stores.
Well until NA time cards appear in NA they won't be getting anymore money from me that's for sure.
