Is this game stressful late game ?

I'm new at the game second week playing.. and i'm a bit ashamed of myself to think lowly of the critical thinking process of most people playing this game. Today was my first day at doing Ifrit hard mode and i realize most healers play like heal bots.. maybe they are... and about 1 in 4 people can't dodge eruption and they die and we get constant wipes, but now it's starting not to seem fun anymore.. what seemed exiting as dodging and hitting now it's turning into worry about me not being able to complete it because of someone else's luggage :/

does this get worse ?

I think of myself as an average player.. not even good yet.. still have problems with my rotations.. yet.. i find it hard there's people that bad at something sooo easy @_@

Garuda and Titan are worse for mechanics. The best thing you can do is avoid Duty Finder for these and put together a group from your FC that you know won't make mistakes or at the very least wont grief when accidents happen. A lot of people forget that it's just a game. Especially when they're on their 40th Ifrit without a weapon drop.

First of all if you cant get past Ifrit HM even with a pug group i feel bad for you.
Cause that fight is a joke compared to garuda and even more so titan.

But yea i would recommend getting FC and running organized groups for anything above ifrit.
As it gets a lot more difficult as you move on.

Oh and BTW people dying to eruption is not really there fault presay.
Sure they can doge it but its up to the off tank to stun the boss and interrupt it.

But yea in short avoid pug groups with a 10 foot pole and get in to a decent FC

For newbies, Ifritt HM during last phase, can be a big "Surprise! B*tt sex!". But its a simple rythm to learn. What is bad, is when people leaves after just 1 wipe, and not giving the newbies a chance to learn the rythm.

But keep at it. You'll find groups that just cant get through it, and other groups make it seem like fighting a trash group and having a tea party at the same time.
"Oh dear John, did you see that fiery plume just now. Wasent it pretty?"
"Oh yes my dear Walter, absolutely fantastic. How is your tea?"

Garuda and Titan however, is best done with FC or people from your server. I think Garuda is actually a bit easier than Ifritt, since you dont really have to run around, avoiding stuff all the time. And when you actually have to avoid something, the entire group moves close together to avoid it.

Now Titan.... Oooh boy... I did a marathon on that guy yesterday... 22½ hours of torture, 9 different groups, 90+ wipes.... but we won in the end. The first group I joined yesterday, we did 23 attempts on him, before calling it.
The last group I joined, our very first attempt together, brought him down to just about 2% HP, then we wiped. Truely heartbreaking, but at the same time, extremely motivating. So we kept doing it for 2½ hours, until we finally beat that bastard.

Find a group of people like that, who are willing to accept wipe after wipe, to win. Its just amazing.

End Game is highly stressful.

It is also extremely formulaic and tiring. Also the returns are horrible. Also the RNG drop system makes you feel like SE is trolling with you.

Also any mistakes in bosses or primals can kill you, thus you need to be really near perfect on each run else WIPE.

Thus yes it is like a real job. Except maybe not that bad :P But still bad.

It may be "stressful" at first, but it's all about learning patterns, and being patient. (and realistically gearing up) The feeling of confidence is pretty amazing when you go from the guy who always dies in a HM/etc.... to the one calling out mechanics and helping other players.

Ifrit is like a dance really.
Once you know the steps, it is smooth and very enjoyable.

The plumes on the last phase are pretty much. Get in,Get out,Get right up Ifrit's ugly butt if i recall. Eruption will wipe the party at the end if it's not stunned. It's dodgable maybe the first 2 or 3 times but then it covers most of the floor so it's hard to get out the way before it goes off. 2 Tanks should have no problem stunning those eruptions and it makes the run that much easier.

On healers. Yes they are basically heal bots at end game. You can't afford to not heal since there is so much of it to do and you need to reserve all the mana you can get.
