Dear Odin...
After watching Odin win via server lag, I've come to one conclusion. Make Odin an instanced off fate that a group of 8 or 24, whatever you prefer, can do. The kicker is: You would only have like 30 minutes to locate Odin to start the instance. Keep the two day random spawn timer as well, but failing to an open world super server lag issue just pisses off so many ppl. Failing because you couldn't beat him because everyone wasn't doing their job right, that's more legit. Just my 2 cents. Reply with your thoughts and Like if you want to see this change!!!

I highly support this. I rather Odin be Instance based rather than a Fate that pops up everyday or two days. Since like over 100 people are fighting him it causes lag on even your high end machines.

That's because it just becomes server lag and the client can't even keep up at this point. They had the same problem in Rift.

I support this, personally I went to the fight just to see the mob. Not to bother with the FATE or nothing knowing it'd hardly give any credit due to level. Though sadly you couldn't even see the mob let alone even half of the players there. There was a number of DC'ed players as well as the lag going on throughout the area. I can't imagine the number of lower levels that died or dc'ed mid fight doing things that had nothing to do with that giant cluster-fest of a FATE.
At the least if it was instanced out you could see what you were doing or fighting. =/ No wonder the FATE failed, probably lag or people know knowing if they hit the LB buttons or not.

To me it makes no sense having content if it plays horribly. What they need to do is leave it as a FATE but have it in a "DEFINED" Zone with boundries and the first so many players that make it in get to fight it and all the rest get "LOCKED OUT". It could then get transferred to an INSTANCED Dungeon enviornment where you could fight him and there could be a lag free enviornment in which to fight him. You further can make many more instances and put them off into different instance dungeons so that many groups can fight him every time he spawns.

They already said they were gonna fix this. For both Behemoth and Odin. I don't see a reason to move it into an instanced FATE, if the fixes they put in place work, as random world boss spawns add to the dynamicy(Fake word) of the game. Now, if they are not able to fix it then go for it.

because prophez it will not work, yesterday on ragnarok, the server litterally boot people out of south forest because too many people was there...
the idea of fight a boss like this is nice... but let's be honest... as it is now... it's a pain

They are also pretty terrible fights... who wants to see a epic boss get mowed down with waves of people and zero skill required?

I agree Rhained. I actually rather like just Odin as an NPC appearing randomly somewhere and you have to talk to him to start the instanced encounter. ALTHOUGH, i just had a thought, you could use a different trigger! (I.E. Slepnir just chilling in the forest, you go to touch his horse, odin says no! lol) That could be really cool too. As it stands, 100's of ppl punching on one guy is kind of ... well... super lame.

We have enough instanced content as it is, if there were more world events there would not be this massive congestion everytime something happens.
Give something for people who don't prefer instances.
