it's called relic, not AF2. This is a fact, and i don't know where someone got "there is no relic armor in the FF universe". especially when FFXI was the first game to call the iconic job appearances "Artifact armor."
edits since SE won't us post freely
Actually, no, you're wrong. It's not referred to as AF+1 anywhere in the game, nor is it referred to as AF2. Just like in XI, it's called relic armor.
How you got 4 likes for that, I don't know. it's a simple fact that the dynamis set, which was the second job specific set, was called relic armor by SE. Then the third set was called Empyrean armor..
Dude, he edited his post after I posted...
As far as the thread goes, I dont' have any cool SS atm, so ill just use character profile

I usually use this site to check out the armor models : http://xivmodels.com/
Actually, no. It's called AF+1, but also AF2 by those, who are new to FF series, but not "relic". There are no "relic" armors in FF universe, only "relic" weapons. And it was very ignorant of you to judge on things you not know about.Quote:

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...1-screen-shots Bunchs of screenshot there.
@ Sephirah that's badass screenshot you got there, Is that from cutscence?
Yes, but I still think AF+1 is more accurate, because "equip" level is the same, plus they were actually called <%AF_name%>+1 in DB that was leaked in last CBT, and were renamed just before release. Anyway, the point is that people, who call that armor "relic" make me facepalm and wish they quit the game (especially those who insist on this).Quote:
Or those who played FFXI, which this game takes its AF2 naming scheme from (ie, Healer's -> Cleric's). AF+1 is something different all together.
